Has some heft to it, and seems well made.Gets pretty loud and bass boost is good!Charge lasts for at least 6-8 hours of continuous play and maybe more. BT connectivity is easy and reliable.Overall I’d recommend this unit !

I was needing a new bluetooth speaker for outdoor yard work, lounging and on the go music. I have purchashed Anker audio products before to mixed review, and was very happy with this purchase. The sound is great, convenient size, not too heavy and seems very well built. The audio is great, lights and bass is very impressive, although it would be nice to turn off the lights to conserve battery but not a major downside at all. Wonderful product, I have not used up a full battery cycle yet but it has been played for over 2+ hours in the hot sun by the pool, even dunked once to test water proofing. Speaker will sound funny after the water until its all out of the front grille, but will resume great sound shortly after drying. Very happy with this purchase.

I bought this speaker specifically to use when my friends and I are out and about, and it has turned out to be absolutely perfect for that. It is an incredibly well built product that delivers a punchy, loud sound that easily fills any space. The bass hits remarkably hard for a speaker of this size. The bass notes on this speaker might not hit as deep but it sure is punchy. The bluetooth connection is very stable and doesn’t have any static noises you might see on other bluetooth speakers. It’s long battery life easily powers through an entire day of continuous music without a sweat, and having the built in power bank is a massive lifesaver for topping up our phones when we are away from an outlet. 10/10 speaker for the amazing price.

I am absolutely blown away by the Soundcore Boom 2. If you are looking for the perfect outdoor speaker, this is it.​Sound Quality & Bass: The sound profile is incredibly crisp, but the star of the show is the "BassUp" feature. For a speaker this size, the bass hits remarkably deep without distorting the mids or highs. It easily fills a large backyard or noisy beach area.​Design & Portability: The built-in handle makes it super easy to grab and go. This is a really great sounding speaker system that is under $100. The battery life is excellent, the app has its own equalizer capabilities, the buttons on the speaker itself function great, the RGB LED lights are a nice touch syncing to the music. The sound is amazing with crisp bass and no distortion as you crank up the volume which is impressive at this price point. One requirement I had was being able to easily change between Bluetooth sources and this speaker allows for multiple devices to be attached and easily change between them. Audio will only play from one at a time and that is fine for my need. It is not a multipoint Bluetooth capable speaker. The Soundcore app works great.I also have the WKing D9 and prefer the SoundCore Boom 2. The WKing speaker will stay in the garage and only be paired to my phone. That's because it's a pain to try to change sources when they are all turned on and it becomes a race situation and is extremely frustrating.Definitely recommend the SoundCore Boom 2 for a great sounding Bluetooth speaker in the sub $100 range.

I've used the Soundcore Boom 2 for several months, testing it in a variety of settings both indoor and outdoor. Overall I've been very happy with it, and I think it's one of the best portable speakers you can get at this price point. However, there is one major flaw that keeps it from being perfect.First, the good stuff:- Sound quality is excellent, featuring both a lot of bass and crisp highs, as well as plenty of volume when needed. I listen to a lot of bass-heavy electronic music, and this speaker absolutely delivers.- Battery life is also great, with one charge lasting for hours and hours even at higher volumes and Bass Up turned on. Even after months of use, the battery has held up and charging is rarely a concern. And since it uses USB C, it's easy to charge off of battery banks when I take it camping.- Build quality is fantastic, with a fairly rugged plastic shell and an IPX7 rating that allows it to go almost anywhere. I've used it for camping, and also as a shower speaker without any issue. I wouldn't submerse it in water (although I think it would survive) but it holds up in wet environments.- Range is great, and it's never been a problem using it outdoors for parties while carrying my phone around. I don't know the exact number, but it seems to work fine within 40-50 feet.- App works well, with EQ and lighting options. It's not really necessary, but nice to have and I've never had any issues using the app.- Connecting to other Soundcore Boom 2s is pretty easy and works well. I've only paired 2 together so far, but it's a nice feature to have when you want to fill an outdoor area with sound.Now for the single negative I've found:The Boom 2 does not have AUX IN. Sound can only be sent to it over Bluetooth, which is a huge drawback for some specific uses. I produce music and DJ, and it's basically worthless for this because Bluetooth adds a ton of latency. I have a very cheap Soundcore speaker with 3.5mm AUX IN, so the absence here is honestly surprising. It also means that some devices simply won't work with the Boom 2 if they only support 3.5mm (although this can be fixed with a separate BT transmitter, which I've tested with it). If it allowed 3.5mm AUX IN, this speaker would be perfect.But, overall, I think this is one of the best portable speakers at this price point. If you just want to play music for yourself or a group of people, you'll be very happy with this. It has limitations, but it really excels at playing music for parties, camping, going to the beach etc. If that's what you need it for, then you should absolutely get it. If you want to use it for a portable DJ setup or devices without Bluetooth, the lack of AUX input is a huge miss. It really depends on what you're going to use it for, it's just disappointing that it can't do everything.

Wow! I just ordered this for $85 and I’m blown away. This sounds better than any of the smaller Bose speakers I’ve had over the years. It has plenty of base and I can’t imagine most people ever needing anything louder. I think it looks nice, and the lights are sort of cool, although I don’t imagine I’ll use them much. The fact it’s fairly small and waterproof only adds to the value. I also just saw you can pair two speakers together to get stereo sound with separate right and left channels! Most people may not care about this but for me having portable stereo sound would be amazing. l just ordered a second one and I’ll update after I try it. No matter what happens, this is a steal at $85 and probably still a bargain at regular price.

Estoy impresionado con esta bocina, el sonido muy bueno, pero lo que mas me dejó impresionado fué su bajo, la coloque debajo de mi escritorio de trabajo encima de una caja de archivo y el bajo se escucha de una manera ¡¡¡sorprendente!!!. La verdad que tiene mucha calidad, el material muy bueno, se conecta muy rápido a bluetooth, la variedad de las luces laterales le dan un plus extra, la aplicación esta excelente y completa, la duración de la batería también me sorprendió al durar casi 24 horas a un nivel de volumen del 30% aproximadamente sin las luces encendidas. Es muy practica para trasladar y la verdad estoy tan contento que ya compre otra igual para enlazarlas en tws y tener el par. La bocina me llegó perfectamente empacada tanto en su interior y exterior, hasta en eso se ve la calidad de la marca. ¡¡¡Excelente!!!
