Good media bags
Using these for my aquarium, for pour in media these are fantastic and almost unbeatable for the price. They hold a decent amount for storage which is perfect, very easy to use and they stay clean or can be rinsed off very easily

A good value last pays off in savings!
I use them for activated carbon in the filter of my turtle tank. It's more economical than buying the ready made and does a better job because I add more than ones you buy that you have to change more often. Very little dust a I just rinse when cleaning the filter and put it back in. My tank is always clear. I have 2 very large red eared sliders so these help a lot with keeping a clean and odorless tank.

Great value reusable filter media bags โ just watch what you fill them with
I recently picked up this 10-piece set of media bags from DEPEPE for use in my 20-gallon tank and a small 5-gallon nano setup. The bags measure approximately 15cm ร 20cm (5.9โณ ร 7.8โณ) and come in a pack of 10 (5 white, 5 black) as advertised. Amazon +1 What I like: The zipper closure is very helpful โ once youโve filled the bag with your media (activated carbon, ceramic rings, bio-spheres) you can seal it up so nothing spills out during maintenance or when moving the bag around. The listing says โFilter made of: Polyester; Zipper made of: Plastic.โ Amazon +1 Theyโre reusable, which is a big plus. After rinsing them a few times they held up well and didnโt tear or lose mesh. The size is very practical for many typical aquariums and external filters. The mesh opening is roughly ~1mm (so quite coarse) which makes them ideal for larger media pieces like rings or bio-balls rather than very fine resin or ultra-fine powders. Ubuy France +1 The price is good for 10 bags, giving you some spares which is always nice. What to watch / minor drawbacks: Because of the ~1mm mesh size, these are not suitable for very fine filtration media (for example fine resins, super small bio-pellets, or powders) โ the manufacturer explicitly notes this limitation. Amazon +1 In a few instances the zipper felt a little lightweight and I had to make sure it was fully closed each time, or some smaller granules tried to escape when I shook the bag. Itโs not a deal-breaker, but worth noting. If youโre using very heavy media (volcanic rock, dense ceramic) youโll want to make sure the bag is tied down or supported โ the large size plus heavier load could cause the bag to shift in flow or vibration. Some users have mentioned a mild odor out of the box (likely from packaging or materials), though in my case after a rinse it went away. Ubuy Madagascar In my setup: I put one bag filled with ceramic rings and one with activated carbon into my canister filter for my 20-gallon shrimp & tetra tank (where youโre aware of needing good water clarity and stable parameters). Since switching to these bags Iโve found it easier to remove the media for cleaning or replacement rather than loose media floating around the filter chamber. In the smaller 5-gallon tank (with shrimp and hairgrass) I used one for bio-spheres and liked that I could just pull it out for rinsing instead of transferring each piece of media individually. Final thoughts: If youโre looking for a cost-effective, reusable way to contain filter media โ especially the kinds that are granular, ring-shaped, or chunky โ these DEPEPE media bags offer solid value. Theyโre not perfect for ultra-fine resins or super dusty media, so just make sure the mesh size aligns with what youโre using. Given that limitation, Iโd give them a strong recommendation for most freshwater setups, including shrimp tanks, planted tanks, and standard filters.

Convenient and Durable Aquarium Filter Media Bags
These 10 filter media bags with zippers are a great addition to my aquarium setup. The bags are sturdy and hold activated carbon or other media securely without any spillage. The zippers are easy to use and stay closed even in high water flow areas. Theyโve made maintaining my aquarium much easier and more efficient. Overall, a solid product for anyone looking to improve their tankโs filtration system.

Prefer the drawstring mesh bags
Bought these about a year or two ago and they seem to work just fine in filters. Main complaint is that theyโre kind of stiff compared to other mesh bags Iโve used, which makes them take up more space than they should in the filter canisters. You have to sort of fold them over to make them fit. Perhaps this has something to do with the zippers. Iโm more accustom to using the bags with the drawstrings

Work well
Love them. I use one for phosban and one for carbon and these are great bags and reusable. Plastic zippers are nice and 0 issues using in a saltwater coral tank.
