I love this machine. I looked for months before buying this one. I wanted the $900 machines (who doesn't) but my budget wouldn't allow it. I thought I had to settle, however this doesn't seem like settling at all. I've used it everyday for about 9 months now and it still makes excellent coffee. It heats up in less than 60 seconds. It has everything that the more expensive expresso machines have; hot water, steam, 1 or 2 shot capacity, and even makes regular coffee. A good price for all of that. This is coming from someone who has been making their own lattes since 1992.

The tamper is cheap and it has no cover, I'm prepared that this machine might not last very long but for the money it was a great bargain and I'm okay with it. This is an excellent beginner machine. I fear I may not have it for many years, but who knows, this remains to be seen! It runs well for now, and this is the reason I give it 5 stars. It can even be used to make tea! I love the versatility and utility of this machine.

This makes the best coffee. I've tried cheep expresso machines like MR coffee and it does better than regular coffee machines cause its all about the heat the extract the good stuff from the coffee bean... but this machine is a whole new level of yummy goodness! Now I use this I am never going back to cheaper machines like mr coffee. I favor my coffee black Americano but I make double shot expressos too for treats with half and half steamed. only one thing I would like them to change is use a non skid matt where the put the glass carafe. Sometimes the vibration can be intense and it starts to slide out of alignment. maybe only once or twice this has happened (rare) and I lose a tiny bit of coffee as one of the two streams leaks over a side near the end of brew ok detect 1 start but still amazing machine!

The pressure looks normal on the machine but the grounds are super soggy after brewing either a single or double shot. It makes a terrible mess when attempting to empty the grounds. This has never happened on cheaper machines we owned. I also do not like all of the plastic in the brew basket. This seems cheap and I do not want plastic leaching into my coffee daily. I don’t like this at all and I will be returning it. Too bad since the espresso is really good. Update, I ordered and tested another brand, $100 more, with great ratings. The more expensive machine could not create any crema after multiple attempts. I am keeping Kolos!!! It produces great crema every time, even with already ground espresso. It heats up fast and is super easy to use. I also had a great experience with their customer support when I was inquiring about aftermarket 51 mm baskets. They were prompt and helpful. This was a great deal!!

The unit is a little slimmer than I envisioned it, but it's perfect! Makes an excellent cup of expresso - heats up fast and produces wonderful crema at the perfect temp. I especially like the ease of cleaning up the tray and the fact that the unit has suction feet that do a great job holding it to the counter... I've gone through 3 expresso machines in about a year and this is the one I've been searching for...great price, packed very well, came with additional expresso baskets ,arrived quickly and looks fantastic in chrome!

Running a double shot on just pure water I would receive roughly a fourth of a cup of hot water. When I add coffee powder the machine hardly produces any crema and it was well below the amount of what I considered as a DOUBLE. I was absolutely disappointed I tried on several instances to pull with a single shot and a double below the fill line as recommended and with coffee beans grinded to a powder with the oz they recommended for a single and double and could not get any espresso with crema. I was a little disappointed by the recommendations for preheating the machine using warm water initially and I was entirely distraught and gave up after I was pulling very little espresso from an entire double or single shot. On several instances running the double shot by pressing the button more than once on more than one occasion the machine eventually provides enough espresso but by this time the coffee powder is burnt.

My second “inexpensive” express machine from Amazon. I bought a Jassy 6 months ago & it quit working. This new one has made really nice espressos so far. But, this time I’ve kept, and dated the packaging in case I return this one, too. So far, so good. Just make certain that you use distilled or RO water through ANY of these machines. The very best espresso so far from anything purchased has remained my Flair Pro. Now that is a great machine. It is totally manual. That is my coffee making news.
