The SM-4T is a heavy-duty, highly-flexible micro designed for biological and industrial applications. This model is especially popular in the QC, repair and engraving industries thanks to its ease-of-use and reliability. With its wide zoom range and double-arm boom-stand, this model will become an indispensable instrument in any workshop or lab. Optics ------ The stereo optics provide clear, sharp images with excellent focus-depth and a large working-distance. With 0.7X-4.5X zoom objectives, moving through the magnification range is as easy as turning a knob. 10X wide-field eyepieces provide an ample magnification range from 7X to 45X, with high-eyepoint optics to accommodate glasses or goggles. A 0.5X Barlow lens is included, which can be ed to the objective housing to halve the magnification range to 3.5X-22.5X. This also increases the working distance. The combined magnification ranges provide 3.5X-45X. Ocular Adjustment ----------------- Dual ocular diopters can be adjusted to maintain consistent focus, greatly improving productivity. Rotating interpupillary adjusters simplify the process of aligning the eyepieces for each user. Trinocular Port --------------- The switched trinocular photo-port provides a dedicated for a camera. When the photo-port is switched open, all light from the left objective is diverted to the port to provide maximum brightness for the camera to guarantee the best quality images. This micro uses our CX series trinocular port, so it can be easily replaced with optional C- ports to match specific cameras. Double-arm Boom-Stand --------------------- The multi-pivoting, double-arm stand provides a stable, flexible support system, ideal for hands-on work. Use of a drop-down column allows the head to be positioned at virtually any angle. Ball-bearings provide smooth movement of the lateral arms, which can easily pivot the micro out of the way when it is not needed. The heavy, steel base ensures the stability of the micro, even when laden with attachments. Digital Imaging --------------- This micro comes with a 1080p multifunction camera which can be used to record directly while streaming images to a monitor or TV, or with a computer. Connected to an HDMI monitor or TV, 1080p live video can be viewed at a super-smooth 60fps, while directly to a Secure Digital card at 25fps. The included USB mouse allows you to make adjustments in the internal software for settings such as white-balance and exposure. Optionally, a companion HDMI monitor can be attached directly to the camera, creating a self-sufficient turnkey system. As an alternative solution, connect the camera to a computer via USB for remote software control. The included Windows software offers image-development and measurement tools, as well as advanced compositing features such as image-st and extended-depth-of-focus. With the ability to calibrate scales at multiple magnifications, the software can be used for multi-level inspection. For Mac and Linux, there is a lite version of the software which can capture video and still images, and includes limited processing features. Additional Items ---------------- This package includes a 144-LED ring-light for bright and cool illumination. This lightweight illuminator s to the micro’s objective housing, and projects a smooth, encompassing field of light over objects, eliminating most shadows. For added convenience, a separate power-controller is used to manage the brightness. Whether used as the sole light-source or in combination with additional illuminators, the ring-light produces a crucial light pattern for virtually any application.
