My old vinyl coated chair from Office Depot that's 10 years old has been flaking off into pieces. There's always small vinyl scraps to vacuum up off the floor. Back then it costed around $100 to $200. This newer black mesh chair is a modern upgrade. All the parts came well packaged. The tools and screews were easy to match to the simple and concise instructions with pictures. It took me about 45 minutes to assemble the chaiir. It feels sturdy and is quite comfortable to sit on. The headrest is a nice touch. There's no locking mechanism for it. Just a set of notches you can use to raise or lower. The arm rest doen't turn or move forward and back. There is a button on the side you press and you can raise or lower them. The chair does lift up and down easily. There's a knob that relaxes or stiffens the back rest. It doesn't recline. For $200 this is a nice chair. The one iissue I have is that the material for the mesh backing is a fabric like material. It's not metal wires or anything stronger or stiffer. I think this mesh will sag over time. I have one of their $300 white wire mesh chairs and enjoy sitting it every day. This chair is a good value for the price listed. Could use a stronger mesh. No more dried pieces of vinyl to vacuum up.
