I've been using these loppers now for more than a year, and they've never let me down. they're incredibly well-made and strong, and work as well today as they did when I first got them. pruning happens at least once a week, and they've been fantastic for trees and bushes. being able to adjust the length of the handles is a boon, too. I won't be at all surprised if they're still in use ten or twenty years from now. HIGHly recommended!

My concern about extendedable handles was their rigidity when cutting big branches. The first thing I check was that and it felt very solid and strong, no looseness. I cut a few branches to test and it was smooth. I took one star off because for storage, the handles are far apart with an angle toward the ends , not parallel with each other.
