A Must-Have Addition for Any RPG Library
As a household deeply entrenched in the world of Dungeons and Dragons, adding the Dark Souls Roleplaying Game Source Book to our expansive collection was a no-brainer. And I can confidently say, it was an outstanding decision. The book itself is rich in content, offering new layers of complexity and challenges that fans of Dark Souls will undoubtedly appreciate. But what really makes it a stellar addition is its seamless compatibility with the RPG dynamics my family already loves. Even if you're not a die-hard fan of the Dark Souls video games, the lore, mechanics, and scenarios presented in this book offer a fresh and exciting twist on traditional role-playing adventures. It's a high-quality sourcebook that feels both familiar and innovative. In short, this book is not just a good fit for Dark Souls fans but for anyone interested in deepening their RPG experience. Five stars all around, and here's hoping for many engrossing campaigns ahead!

For fans of Dark Souls and tabletop rpg's.
As of this review I haven't completely read the book yet. I'm assuming this is the revised version as it came out fairly recently. The previous version that came out last March was terrible, so the authors promised to come out with a corrected version. I mainly got this book as several people I know play the videogame series and I wanted to see what all the excitement was about. The book uses the 5th edition rules set for D&D with modifications to fit the Dark Souls universe. There's lots of very good artwork and the flavor and themes are also well done. There are also a variety of character types and creatures to fight from the videogame including bosses. This is also the first rpg I've played where characters will respawn when killed. I really like the first page you come to when you open the book, simply : "You Died."

Neat
I like this, not as much art as I'd like and it's a relatively small book for the price. Honestly I love souls games so this rpg is something I wanted regardless but I think a bit more could be here but I think the product is a fun addition to my table.

Some information doesn't make sense.
I use this book for DnD, but so much information doesn't really sense. Like the people in charge of what to write didn't play DnD ever. Pretty mid translation. I hate to give it three stars because I love dark souls so much.

Lots of things mostly from DS3
I absolutely adore the DS series, so I knew I had to get this book above all. When I got it it was packaged kinda meh, a few pages were bent but nothing a little force wonโt fix. The bosses and items in this are mainly from Dark souls 3, kinda wish it was more balanced out with 1-3 but hey, still worth it all the same!!

An interesting book to have if you love the Dark Souls Series
This is, as stated in the header, a book to have on your shelf if you love the Dark Souls series. Take note, however, that there are two editions. The newer, updated edition (and the one you should get) is 380 pages; the older - and more buggy one - is 500 pages (from what I hear). Again, if you get this, get the art books for Dark Souls as well. They will have a place of honor on your bookshelves for years to come. Now...we await the Elden Ring TTRPG. And if they keep to the same rules as in Dark Souls, you can port your character over, and bring the Fire to the Lands Between and Beyond.

Full of interesting monsters
Okay. Here we go. Now, this book is full of interesting monsters that go well with the Dark Souls RPG, and which can be ported to other 5E games, in the event you want to give your players a nightmare - or have them go "WTH did this beast come from?!". I recommend it. Add this, and the main Dark Souls RPG book to your shelves.

Book came damaged in sealed packet.
I was looking forward to receiving a brand new book and received it, only its damaged despite the fact the seal wasnโt broken nor the postage packet having no marks. Genuinely disappointed.

A good addition to the main book
Just adds more monsters and helps you in building encounters for your group. Not essential by any means but it's a good addition to the main game for less than 40 bucks it's worth it in my opinion.
