I had to press hard on the paper and the blade does get stuck when making round cuts. the cut has to be a big round to be able to make a round cut, but if you want to make a small circle cut, you will tear the paper because the swivel does not work that way for this blade. the more you try to use it, the more it unscrews from the tip and have to continually try to screw the tip. Not a good swivel blade cutting tool. Review: Won't cut mylar - I tried to use it to cut stencils and it doesn't cut it, no pun intended.
