We installed a very high end spa area at our home that included a sauna, cold plunge, outdoor shower and a lounge area. No one sees this enclosure as it sits behind the sauna but it works great and my electrician really liked it. Easy to install and solidly built! It sits under our deck and can be exposed to rain and weather so important we had the right protection for our wiring.

I used this enclosure as a hobby box for a remotely-controlled, multi-zone watering system. Perfect for the project. Weatherproof, easy mounting of components, seals well.

Purchased the Joinfworld Lockable Outdoor Weatherproof Electrical Box to protect an exterior hose bibb on a stucco wall from cold weather. I also needed something that would keep my pets’ curiosity from turning the insulation into a toy, which has happened with other hose‑bibb insulation options in the past. This enclosure turned out to be the perfect solution. The material is durable, and the weather‑resistant sealing has held up beautifully against temperature swings. It was easy to repurpose the box for the hose bibb, and with a simple modification, it fit like it was made for the job—while still allowing easy access to the water when needed. If you need a tough, weatherproof enclosure, I recommend this one. It is worth it.

Ok I have mixed reviews on this product. Overall the quality of this product is undeniably good! It’s very tough and I’m sure if you were just needing a weather tight box it would be water resistant and do it’s job perfectly. I was trying to lock up a wifi box at a rental property I own and REALLY struggled with this product. First it came with no instructions on how to use it, mount it, etc. it wasn’t as clear cut as you would expect as it came with several sets of screws, several of which didn’t fit. We ended up having to jimmy rig something together to make it work. I think a simple instruction pamphlet would’ve cleared this up but it didn’t come with this. Overall I would buy it again even with this inconvenience.

Bought these to put my Auto-Transfer switches in, for my battery backup system. The Transfer switch has a digital display to show the voltage and Amps, nice to have a box with a clear cover so you don't have to open it to see the display. The box is well-made. It seems to seal very well, but I have mine inside the garage. The mounting system works well, and is easy to install. Just check your dimensions so you know what you are getting.

This is a solid outdoor weatherproof electrical box and I’d definitely use it again. It comes with weatherproof cable glands, which is a nice bonus and makes sealing everything up easy. One tip: use a proper high-speed or step bit when drilling for the glands. I didn’t, and I slightly cracked the box where one gland goes in. That said, a little silicone sealed it up without any issues. I’ve had a Raspberry Pi Zero W 2 mounted inside this box outdoors for over a year now, through both winter and summer, and it’s been running great the whole time. No moisture issues and no failures. Overall, very happy with it.

High quality, perfect for my needs

I purchased this waterproof box to enclose a Zooz Zen78 high power relay to add my pool's pump to my smart home system. The relay fitted perfectly in this enclosure - for anyone else looking for a way to waterproof that relay, I can confirm this works great. The only minor issue was it took a bit of work to screw in the grid plate back into the box since the relay was covering up the bottom 2 screws - just had to loosen the relay a bit to move it around and get behind it with the screwdriver. The box drills easily and I didn't have any problems pulling in the wires. It has *poured* down rain a couple times already and the relay is bone dry inside. I mounted the box to some Unistrut that was nearby and used some galvanized watertight washers on both sides to keep water from entering the back of the box. I used 1/4" hex head bolts to secure to the Unistrut and there was enough clearance behind the grid plate to fit that and the washer with no problems.

Exactly what was required and easy to work to fit over the switch it was protecting

We used this housing for a custom power control system for a wood fired hot tub at our off grid Airbnb in northern Ontario. Works well, our licensed electrician was happy with it.

Well made, sturdy. Used for HVAC external uses. Waterproof, therefore was perfect to install additional equipments. Would recommend!
