Can this be used with Apidra insulin and Victosa?

This is a silicone ring designed to fit round a novorapid insulin pen. It works by putting pressure and stimulating the skin while the needle goes in. Since the skin in areas being injected cant tell the difference between prickles and the needle prick it does work. However it is quite difficult to the needle go in or to make sure it has delivered insulin. I did buy one and it does work. However we just used in once or twice. After 2 months of injecting insulin without it, my 7 year old daughter is perfectly happy to just inject the normal quick and easy way herself. This would have just held her back from it. As for specific question, it can be used with any type of insulin but im not sure if those brands have different delivery pens, I wish I could mail you ours for free, so you could try it out without spending money :-)

My son uses BD micro-fine Ultra 4mm pen needles - will these work as there is a comment from someone that says they slip.

My son uses 4mm BD micro-fine needles and it works well for us. I bought it soon after his diagnosis this summer, he is just 6. It has helped him adjust well to the injections and has helped build his confidence at self injecting under supervision. Hope this helps.

Can this be used with Novopen 5 and Allstar pro

Yes this product can absolutely be used with the NovoRapid Flexipen and also the Lantus Solostar pen.

It is a great product especially for those are fearful of injecting insulin, it really does grab the flesh on body(painless) of course and then you just simply release the insulin
