Easy-to-Do Magic Tricks for Children (Dover Magic Books) Paperback – June 23, 1993

The book I received looks completely different than the photo in the description, but I was happier with what I received than what was originally pictured. (I've included photos). I was trying to find a simple, cheap kids' magic book for my friend's 7 year old daughter who is recently taking more of an interest in magic tricks. I saved it for her as a prize while I was babysitting if she behaved throughout the week. She was so excited about it and kept trying to peek at it, and learned one of the tricks just by glancing at the page. She was so excited to get the book at the end of the week and worked really hard for it. It will be nice for her to learn magic tricks appropriate for her age instead of struggling to learn tricks I show her (our making up her own tricks that don't work lol)

Sent to to my grandson. He has not commented on it, so I don't know if he likes it or not. Gave to a "love it" rating, because I just don't know. I did not see it - had it sent direct.

I bought this for children, and the directions to the tricks were too difficult for them to understand on their own.

Great book of easy tricks for young and very young magicians. A few more such tricks would make the book more valuable. Simple line drawings work OK but are not very eye appealing. For the price, it's well worth the money.

My youngest loves magic. He really enjoyed this book. He even used some tricks he learned reading it, for his act in his school talent show. Quick shipping. Thank you!

My granddaughter was so excited knowing that this book was coming. It was very complicated in it's instruction. It was not easy for 3 very highly educated adults living in the household. I will go to he bookstore to find something easier for us all to understand.

My 7 year old wanted a magic book for Christmas. She liked this book when she received it.

The Amazon Photograph needs to be updated for this item. I feel bamboozeled because I assumed I was buying a sizeable paperback book. Not a few pages with a cover that appears to be printed from Kinkos. This was supposed to be a single Christmas gift for a 9 year old child, but I'm now ashamed to give it to them.
