Bang for the buck...massively less expensive than a certain Z scale German competitor.
Remarkably well engineered for the price. Very very light in weight. If you want more traction, add small shaped lead weights. When I added even just 1/2 gram more weight it was noticeably better anchored when zooming down the track. You can mount other modified locomotive or z scale bodies on it as I did twice it to make bashed together hybrid locomotives. [cut down channeled z scale caboose body esp easy w/super glue] Wheels are even tinier in diameter than many other z scale locomotives and super sensitive to bogie swiveling , so it can be a little time consuming getting all 8 wheels properly on the track rails to start with, but then off she goes. It's built like it could run for a very long time as long as you don't slam it around.

Great little low voltage engine chassis.
Very nice little power unit. Be aware it uses only 3 volts so power supplies from other product lines will be too much voltage.
