This is a Retinoid. It's not just for acne. Use it for a few months and your skin will feel firmer. Yesterday the bus driver questioned me over my senior bus pass because he did not believe I was a senior. No itching or peeling, gentle exfoliation and brightening. Great price for something you would pay more for at the drugstore. Years of science back this up. Sure, it works on cystic acne, but it works on aging skin even more surprisingly so.

Good value and it works when used consistently. It can be irritating, so this product was layered over a moisturizer and there was no irritation. Don’t forget sunscreen during the day and use only at night as suggested by online dermatologists.

If you've tried prescription grade Tretinoin before, then you know how hard the initial few weeks to months of usage can be! Before when I tried Tretinoin, I was unable to stay consistent due to all the side effects (redness, flaking, dryness), but this Adapalene gel has given me none of these side effects! My skin has done really well with this gel. It absorbs well, does not irritate my skin, and does not dry it out! I have fairly dry skin, so this is a huge concern for me. You will absolutely still need moisturizer, but that's a given with any of these types of products. Great value for money as well! Would absolutely repurchase, especially since I read other reviews online that this particular brand is cleaner than some other Adapalene brands.

This product helped get my painful, tender acne on my cheeks and chin under control. 1.I had to build up my tolerance gradually, starting with 1–2 applications per week before increasing frequency. 2. I only use it at night (photosensitivity) and always follow with a moisturizer. You might see dry, flaky patches of skin as you build up tolerance. 3. As an added bonus, this version costs less than the name-brand version. I’ve seen significant improvement in active breakouts, though I’m still working on post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) from previous acne. Overall, it’s been effective for managing my acne and preventing new blemishes.

I replaced brand name differin altogether. This is exactly the same and at a much better value. I’ve been using variations of this product for several years so I am past the initial skin dryness and irritation, but that is true for most people no matter which brand you buy. I have found this product to absorb well and it is very effective at reducing breakouts. It is not a moisturizing product, so I usually layer over hyalauronic acid and under a cream moisturizer and aquafor.

Good for acne and anti-aging because of increase in skin cell turn over. There is a retinization period where skin will be red, peeling and more irritated… Stick with it. After a week or two, the skin adjusts and it will be worth it. Also, moisturizer and SPF is imperative while using this product bc of skin cell turn over! Essentially, you will have new born baby skin most of the time from lack of dead keratinocytes that make up the majority of the epidermis. This means you will need to work on skin barrier with ceramides as well. If you feel dry, use a moisturizing toner first, apply the adapalene after, then use a final lotion after the adaplene. The rewards outweigh the draw backs for this product imo. You cannot buy any over the counter retinoid of the caliber, so without a prescription this is the best you can get for an anti-aging acne product!

I have used many creams, but this cream is very different and I am very satisfied.

Vale la pena, Un viaje de 3 meses usando este producto, realmente al inicio es lo peor por la sensibilidad y resequedad, salen muchos brotes como por un mes, el famoso efecto purga pero con una constancia de uso diario por las noches, con un chicharito y crema hipoalergenica de cerave ha rendido frutos y estoy mejor que nunca, aún me falta mejorar y tratar mis cicatrices pero ha sido una gran decisión
