Ive used n ordered these many times but not for there intended job, I use these to secure braids n dreads, as they are stronger than normal elastic/rubber hair bands.

Great yo have as spares for my daughter, enough packets that she has one in the car, her school bag, the bathroom, in her coat pocket and one in the kitchen. Great price and exactly the same as what the orthodontist gave her. No complaints whatsoever and double checked the bands with the orthodontist in person and she said they do the job. My daughter wears her bands 24/7 so changes numerous times a day
