Cleans like a champ
I'm temporarily short term renting a house. The yard is muddy, so my dog leaves a mess on the LVT flooring. I've tried everything to clean it and covered it with indoor outdoor carpets. I went to look for something else. This was a game changer. Easy to use and does a remarkable job. The cord length is reeeeeally long for those of you with older homes and few outlets.

Floor Cleaner
I used the steam mop today for the first time. I was impressed with the digital display with temp gauge and two different steam modes. The steam mop does a good job of cleaning both hardwood and vinyl floor. The steam mop is of good quality and noise level is relatively quiet. I am pleased with the purchase and looking forward to many years of use.

Went through 3 mops, 2/3 broke around the 1 month mark. DO NOT BUY
This is the worst steam mop I have ever used. I have been through 3 of these! The first issue was my fault, our puppy chewed through the cord. I had loved the mop so much at first I eventually purchased a 2nd one. This second mop worked great and then stopped working after exactly 1 month. The mop head still spun, the machine was heating up but the machine had stopped producing steam. This may have also been my fault as I did put a little all purpose cleaner in tank so I thought I might have ruined it. Reached out to Amazon support who was willing to send a 3rd mop. I got the mop back on July 20th of 2025, I mop once a week on the weekends and as of today, August 17th, the mop stopped producing steam again! This time I followed the instructions to a 2. I never kept the water tank stored on the machine, I only used distilled water and just over a month with this 3rd mop it stopped producing the steam. I am beyond fed up and will be switching back to my shark steam mop I once had. I thought for the price, durability of the machine based on weight and customer service I was just having bad luck but turns out this is just a terrible product. I had read through reviews to only see other having the same issue, I just cannot understand how after 3 mops, I ran into the same issue and any troubleshooting the manual advised did not work. I had always loved bissell and their products but this has turned me away and I was trying to use it as honestly as I could especially after the 3rd mop. Do not buy this mop, look elsewhere and honestly don’t invest this much. I don’t think steam mops in general are meant to last that long anyway but the best luck I had was with my simple $40 shark one. I tired to invest in a more expensive product thinking it would be worth it but it’s been nothing but a nightmare and a headache all year. Absolutely terrible.

Terrific cleaner
This is a terrific floor cleaner. The steam cleans my timed floor so well and the finish is lovely, matte and flawless. It works very well also on our luxury vinyl plank flooring. It doesn’t leave anything too wet. It’s an effortless cleaner and I love that the pads are detachable and machine washable, which I have done and they came out great, as new. It’s also very lightweight and easy to maneuver. Highly recommended.

Great purchase!
I purchased 2 lemons of a different brand last year. I wasted time, money, patience…and decided not to buy any more of these. The only reason I changed my mind was because of the reviews on this specific brand/cleaner…& being desperate. It came in a smaller box so I was worried if that’s why this product was on sale. Lol. The size is actually perfect for anyone. It’s not tiny, so don’t let the box fool you. The look, quality, and cord length met my expectations. The steam output adjust to whatever kind of floor you may have. The temperature sets itself (depending on if you have tile, hardwood, etc.) It’s durable and was simple to put together. It cleans and sanitizes extremely well which is what I was looking for since it’s the start of lets spread more germs season. It cleaned up a lot of tough spots my other non steaming cleaner was not. The mop pads need changing if you realize it’s not working as well on your floor or if you realize it’s leaving “grits” of dirt. Wait a few moments before popping them out because they can be hot. (They are easy to remove) It collects/cleans fast. Since it rotates at the bottom & not in any specific shape, it doesn’t get into direct L corners but truly close enough. After I was finished, I wash the mop pads in the washer on hot water and added a drop of bleach the first time and then I dried them on low in the dryer. Came out brand new and ready to use again. You’ll receive 4 with this purchase so that’ll give you time to order more if needed. So glad I made this purchase and while it was on sale:-)

A great steam cleaning system with no chemicals. Saves a lot of time.
This is one of the best investments in appliances that I've made. Cleaning the floor used to be a big job. I have natural slate floors. I used all the usual methods of cleaning but finally had to get on my hands and knees and scrub with a brush because with natural stone, dirt gets into the pours of the surface. It was becoming too painful to be on my knees. I looked for years trying to find a cleaner that I thought would really work. Then I saw this one with the steam cleaning system, no chemicals, watched the demonstration videos, and was sold. It works so well and takes virtually no extra work. You just have to vacuum first. Watch the videos yourself to see. I take the pads off after using them, wash them by hand with soap using a scrubbing brush, and then put them in the laundry with a load of towels. I don't put them in the dryer although you can. I hang them up to dry.

Remarkably effective for tile and sealed hardwood
I have 3 rooms, an entryway and a laundry room that all have slate-like porcelain tile. I mop them weekly with a Wet Jet style floor cleaner. I thought all the floors were clean. Look at the photo of the 2 sets of machine pads in the photo. One set is new and the other is after my cleaning of my floors with this Bissell floor steamer. They are exactly the same pads when clean. One note. Make sure you fully connect the handle when assembling the device. I didn’t have the handles pressed together fully and it didn’t make the proper electrical connection. I figured it out quick - just a heads up. For $100 this is the best floor cleaner I have ever used for my tile and hardwood floors. It doesn’t leave streaks and with 212 degree steam produced, you know the floors are really clean. Hope this helps! Then this Bissell floor steam cleaner arrived. The build quality is very good for the price. The steam process works well, there are no chemical odors because distilled water has no odor. The water tank capacity is a bit small. I cleaned about 600 sf of tile and hardwood floors and I used 1.5 tanks of distilled water - one tank refill. One irritation is the product registration process on the Bissell website. It is very annoying. They want model number but not with the letter at the end. But they don’t tell you that, you have to figure it out on your own. They want a password that is caps, special characters and numbers but none of this combinations worked. I got locked out of the registration process so I’m still not registered. Bissell HAS to fix this nonsense!

IMPORTANT precaution below
Cutting to the chase of the title I want to start out with a precaution I haven’t seen mentioned in the reviews and is merely implied in the instruction manual but not explicitly stated. It is important to know that you should NOT use the ‘sanitization’ mode (first picture) on hardwood floors. As a clean freak myself I know that this can be tempting, however, the amount of ‘steam’ and thus water produced in this mode is BAD for the long term maintenance of HARDWOOD floors. This is because the amount of water left to dry off leaves the hardwood far TOO wet for far too long. (Second photo shows how wet the floor is left when using the sanitize mode, as you can see it is quite wet) And if you know anything about hardwood floors you know that excess water left to sit for excess time negatively impacts the integrity of the flooring overtime. I find this important to state because again while it is implied in the directions being that the ‘sanitize’ mode is the ‘tile floor’ option and there is a separate ‘hardwood’ mode option they do not explicitly state this nor do they warn against it. So I’m leaving this here to hopefully help some other clean freaks out in not making this mistake. Moving on, I’ve tried many steam mops and imo this is the best you’ll find. I believe this so much so that I own one and I’ve gifted a friend one and made another friend purchase one for his home. While I do think that the ‘spinning’ aspect of the design is a little gimmicky in how it’s presented, in practice the biggest benefit of the spinning pads is that it makes shifting the mop in various angles and directions extremely hassle free. Other steam mops can tend to start having friction issues with the floor early on in the process which makes moving it about and thus steaming the floors a bit more of an annoying tug push and pull nuisance. Mobility and ease of mobility are really where this one excels beyond its competition. Lastly I implore anyone who does purchase this steam mops to also splurge and buy the BISSEL brand ‘eucalyptus and mint demineralized water’ to use in this. Just plain distilled water is fine but the scent really helps if nothing else giving your mind the (albeit a potential fallacy) reassurance that your floors are ACTUALLY cleaned. Hopefully this information proves useful to some people. Cheers.
