Hello!! The best way to clean it is while it’s still warm. You can wipe out any chocolate before it hardens. And with dish soap and warm water the rest of it

Can you put chamoy in it?

I’m not sure but as long as it doesn’t have chunks of fruit or anything like that, I don’t see why not.

Could I add alcohol to chocolate and use this fountain?

I am not 100% sure but I did read something about it in the instructions. I am pretty sure you can though. FYI there is a "splash factor" so put something down to protect table cloths or tables.

What kind of chocolate do you use for this?

For best results, chocolate should contain 60% cocoa. Any higher percentage of cocoa will require the addition of vegetable oil to thin out the mixture.

Wasted my money. Loved the colour retro style so bought it. Thought US plug would just need an adapter.... Wrong. It would need a transformer. This should be stressed in description if it available to UK, for niave buyers with more style than sense!

Skeptical but so glad I took the chance!

Reviews were so split and I was skeptical if this would be worth it but it was my 6 year old son's only request for his birthday party. He wanted a chocolate fountain so bad so I took the chance and am glad I did! It was easy and straight forward to assemble. I bought a large bag of premium Italian chocolate melts and weighed 2lbs out and added 1/2c of coconut oil to be on the safe side. I melted the chocolate in 30 sec intervals until completely melted and smooth. While microwaving the chocolate, I warmed up the fountain on flow heat. After the chocolate was melted, I poured it into the base and immediately everyone at the party squealed lol Everyone loved it! My son was thrilled and a bunch of family immediately requested I bring it to every birthday party from now on. We dipped strawberries and marshmallows and everyone ended up dipping their cupcakes in as well. Worked beautifully and had no issues cleaning it. Great value for the price! The size was perfect, not too big or small. We had 20 people at the party and 2lbs of chocolate wormed great! Very please with this purchase!
