Mostly mush in the container. Grains did not look healthy, seemed to be very few grains in the container. Into my second 24 hours of processing not seeing the expected results I have seen in other batches I have done in the past. I have been doing Kefir for years, both water and milk so I know what healthy ones look like. I'm not happy with this order and would like to be refunded. After a week of back and forth with the seller, they kept justifying their product. I ordered new kefir grains from another seller that have arrived and were visibly very healthy, a day and a half later the grains are already producing a healthy product. I tried to get a refund grew tired of the back and forth with them and told them to keep their money.

I have worked with Kefir and ordered from this seller because I was in a "pinch" and they would arrive quickly. Kefir isn't very difficult to grow. These didn't seem very strong or healthy. My "normal" source of Kefir grains are large, healthy and have been reproduced over 20 years. I think that is the key. If you are starting out, don't buy these - it could be very discouraging. Large, healthy, strong, Kefir grains are so good for you!
