Money saver Christmas present
My husband‘s favorite Christmas present this year. Only took a few minutes to install throw some peanuts in there for some chocolate in there and after a period of time, we had chocolate covered peanuts. It was a little bit noisier than we thought it was going to be, but I think that had more to do with the peanuts. The size was perfect and it was definitely easy to use and install.

This works for nuts and dry fruit. Gummies do not work well.

Nope. I'm sure it works but not for me.
I hate this thing. I bought it nearly 2 years ago in order to coat Christmas candy, specifically buckeyes. That's a cute little ball of peanut butter and other ingredients dipped into chocolate. Not to gloat or anything, but anybody who has ever tried my buckeyes has always told me that they're the best that they've ever had. Well this thing did not work. I still made buckeyes, and I tried them in the snack coater and I still gave them out as Christmas presents, but everybody said that they just weren't the same. They weren't as good. The flavor is there of course, but I could not get an even coating of chocolate, the chocolate was too aerated and I lost the snap that you get with good confectioner's chocolate. Now I have $100 snack coater in my cabinet, taking up space and I have no clue what to do with it. I tried this thing at least a dozen times. I know it works, because I've seen it work in videos. It just doesn't work for what I needed to do. Which is coat like 800 buckeyes... I guess I'll be doing it by hand again this Christmas...

Make your own nibbles.
This item does not only fit the Kitchen Aid. It fits same mixer sold by Lakeland and Sainsbury's which have the front driver. Works a treat excuse the pun. If you are concerned about what is in your snacks make your own reduced salt and sugar or allergen issues regarding soya in chocolate . Make your own they do taste better.

Un vrai gain de temps
Gain de temps +++ surtout si on s'aide d'un ventilateur pour faire cristalliser le chocolat plus vite entre chaque cuillerées. Ne pas tenter de mettre trop de chocolat à la fois (ils se collent et ne sont plus brassés, 1 C à café max). Peut faire 900g de bonbons à la fois sans problèmes (450g de fruits secs plus les 450g de chocolat pour les enduire)
