I love this thing. It's the second one that I've purchased, one blue one black. I didn't have my anemometer with me, so I'm not sure of exact wind conditions, but it flew very well in a range that spanned 10mph or so. Moderate pull and well behaved. Looks great aloft...but the picks I took make it look tiny in the sky, a fault of the lens and not the truth so I won't post them. Generated positive comments from passers by. My first one has seen a few uses a year for over 6 years now with no problems, and this one appears just as well made so I'm confident it will remain with me for years. No assembly required, just hook on the included line and get it soaring. The line is on a very handy winder as a bonus. The winder is a bit small for my giant hands, but still usable by me, and a breeze to use by my normaly proportioned gal and grandkids. Very happy.

We had NO problems getting this kite to take off at the beach! This is a great kite! It is easy to see, catches the wind very easily, and was easy to wind back up.

It is impossible to fly a kite without some tangled string. This is no exception but it will stay up a good amount of time before that becomes a problem. It comes with heavier string than other kites, which is necessary because it takes wind around 15mph to get it flying. The snap swivel helps keep it from tangling a little longer, thanks for that. It might have too much full on the string for younger kids.

Looks nothing like the pictures . If you were hoping to get something cool I would honestly just get the original old school style kites cause this one sucked and was ugly. The reel was cool but felt super cheap like it was going to break at any moment when reeling in the kite

Just got this kite yesterday, just in time for kite fest in my area. It flew great, but one big gust of wind and the line snapped. And flew into a tree that I can't retrieve it from. The line seems like it should be durable, especially with the thickness. I can't find anywhere in the details the pound weight durability. I would have ordered better line if I knew it wasn't going to hold up. The cheap kites from Walmart string was better quality than the string this one comes with.

Prefect bundle and ready to fly out of the package. The package was small and compact that it was easy to take to the beach. We were a little worried that it might be hard to fly but it was so easy. Once fully opened, it was awsome. Everyone on the beach was pointing and smiling. When it was time to go, the included reel was super easy to operate. and brough the kite in smoothly. The kite went back into the storage bag easily as well.
