Nota a cookbook, although there are a few recipes in the book. It’s more of a history of Acadians their journey and the evolution in f Cajun cuisine. Well worth the price and a true account of Acadian culture.

Loved reading this. Marcelle adds such wonderful information for all aspiring cajun cooks.

I really like this book, it's full of a lot of history and proven facts with essential recipes in the back of it. I highly recommend it for anyone who likes to cook Southern food.
