Good as long as you know what you're doing
Yeah it did its job, but I think in future I'll stick to ale yeasts

Excellent lager yeast
I've used this yeast in well over 20 batches of beer and all have been very successful. I brew in winter when I can keep the fermentation temperature to 12C. I also use just 1 pack per batch of 23 litres 1050 brews with no ill effect, (they recommended 2 packs but at that price....) just make sure the wort is well aerated. Ive also successfully cleaned and reused the sediment yeast on a number of subsequent batches.

I have only used it once with a beer kit, but based on other reviews (which made me choose this yeast), I cannot fault it.
