They worked!
I just went on a cruise (Empress of the Seas) and the majority of our group opted for the all you can drink package. I decided I wanted to save a little $ (hopefully). After reading the reviews of several similar products I settled on the ShampBooze. I was nervous because I had read some reviews that said the ships check these products websites and so they recognize the bottle designs. I was concerned because the design I received was almost identical to one I saw on a youtube review from a year ago (so much for updating designs regularly) but I figured all I was risking was the cost of the alcohol/bottles but a lot of savings to potentially gain so I proceeded. The package I bought provides you with a pourer which makes getting the alcohol into the bottles super easy. No spillage during transfer. Everything I read said to fill the bottles allllll the way to the top (less slosh that sounds like something other than shampoo and I believe less bubbles which show up on an xray??) so I did this. Then I stuck the sticky seals on (one I had to redo because I didn't align it properly and I thought it might look suspicious should it be inspected). When I packed it I did it the way I always do my shampoos - I wrap them in a plastic bag (I used non see-through store bags) and then stick them in my shoes (a tip I learned to pack more efficiently). Then any other actual liquid items I was packing I made sure to have close by in the suitcase (so they would all show together in any xray). I don't know if my ship wasn't as strict or all my careful prep worked because my suitcases made it to my room and there was no evidence that they were searched or set off any alarms! Plus no spillage in my bag! I was able to drink along w. my friends for a fraction of the cost! Also - I had bought some of those flask tampons previously so I brought those along and transferred the alcohol into those and put them in my pool bag rather than having to go back to the room every time I wanted a drink). I totally recommend these!

Perfect!!
We bought these along with the rum runners for a 5 day cruise thinking that either one or the other would get at least some of our alcohol on the ship. These look very realistic, and we filled them completely so there wouldn't be any sloshing sound if shaken. No problems with leaking either. I packed them in my checked bag with a ziplock of soap and hair products. They worked perfect. We bought $75 worth of rum and vodka and got all of it on board. We ordered a drink here and there and then added our alcohol to them. We also ordered juice through room service to mix and "pregamed" prior to going out. We left our 5 day cruise with $180 bar tab. A previous 3 day cruise without these totaled a $680 bar tab. Very much worth it. Rum runners also got in without any trouble.

Great cruise gift
These are fantastic!! We have used these on prior cruises. We are leaving from New York and your drink package starts on day 2. These help reduce the day 1 bar tab. And make it a little fun sneaky them on board. They look like legitimate shampoo bottles

Worked AWESOME!
These shambooze bottles worked great for our cruise! We sailed with Princess on Dec 27, 2014 and all 4 of my bottles made it to our stateroom. We packed the bottles in a ziploc bag with some other toiletries and packed them in our checked luggage. The funny part is that the other items in the bag leaked but not these bottles! We enjoyed conditioner and Coke and Shampoo on the Beach all week long! I highly recommend these bottles. A few other notes: Most cruise lines offer all inclusive drink packages. We ended up purchasing one package for the two of us. It covered all alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks including our morning lattes. Most times the bartenders would pour doubles for us and they never checked to see who was using the card. I'm still glad that we purchased these bottles because we definitely used them. Just keep in mind that you should bring your own mixers because the only free mixers are water and iced tea.

Perfect, leak-free and worth your few $$$
Fellow smugglers ๐ - better grab this while you can. Leak-free and you enjoy the cruise!

Does the job.
These did not arouse any suspicion and the seals provided with the kit are necessary to keep the bottles from leaking. Mine did not leak at all. I would wish they were slightly larger though. Two of them were able to accomodate one 750ml bottle with each having room to be filled slightly more. The instructions say to fill to the top, however that would have required me to purchase another bottle and waste most of it, so I did not fill them to the top but they still did not leak because I was very careful to follow the directions for the seal and make sure the lids were screwed down very tight.

What a great idea!
If you have ever been on a cruise you will know what these are for. Many cruise lines inspect your baggage and "store" any alcohol for you until the cruise is over. They say that it is for the safty of the passengers but we know better. They want their "captive audience" to buy all of their liquor at their on-board restaurants and bars. While I can understand this to a degree I still want to be able to enjoy my own alcohol when I am in my cabin without having to pay an inflated price. Shampbooze is a simple product that allows you to hide 32 ounces of the liquid of your choice in two 16 oz bottles disguised to look like shampoo and conditioner. By the way, 32 ounces is 946.352946 milliliters, so we are just an airline bottle shy of a liter! That should last me until I get to the next port. :-) The manufacturer has hidden the label in the photos of the bottles for obvious reasons, however, mine look just like what they are supposed to pass as. I am confident that they won't get looked at twice. The bottles have screw caps so I am not worried about them leaking. Still, I might put them in a plastic bag since that is what I do with my real shampoo. It is important to fill them up all of the way to the top so that they don't slosh around when being handled and by all means, don't attempt to fly with them in your carry-on. The TSA agents would not like that at all. I can think of one or two other reasons for using this product that would not be breaking any law, just a discrete way to transport the beverage of your choice. I also own a couple of Smuggle Mugs , made by the same company. They allow me to have a mixed drink without attracting attention (great for those family gatherings where you could really use a drink or two.) You could clean out your own shampoo bottle and use it for the same purpose, I guess, but at this price I can't see why anyone would want to go through all of that work. The Shampbooze set will certainly be my traveling companions on my next cruise.

Worked great but so did everything else I tried!
Worked like a charm! Put in regular luggage. But as a test I also put 2 very large bottles of IPA in different suitcases, also repacked 2 cases of pepsi with more IPA and finally, we brought a cooler with soda and water on top and more IPA on the bottom ( yes, they let us bring a cooler with sodas and/or water). All told I brought on board around 2.5 cases of beer and these shambooze gizmo's. The verdict --- they ALL arrived! The room porter even kept the cooler full of beer on ice! I bought 1 drink for the whole cruise, so while pricey for 2 small plastic bottles -- they easily save $100+ per bottle!!! My analysis is that if you think about it: load a ship with 1500+ passengers and leave port -- its not like they have some CSI dude going through luggage from 1500+ passengers. I guessing but most luggage get minimal scrutiny. So relax, don't stress and all will be well!

Eh
The lid and the sticker that goes on kept falling off thus alcohol kept spilling out. I wouldn't recommend it if I'm being honest. It didn't do it's job.
