It is just what it says, apple juice from USA grown apples. It lists nothing else and no additives.

Are these shipped in glass bottles? it seems from comments some are shipped in plastic bottles ... i do not want plastic bottles !

I do not understand your question: "Does it actually make a sound when you bite into it??". Please be aware, this is apple juice in a small glass bottle that is shaped like an apple. When you twist off the cap a "pop" sound is heard because the air pressured seal has been broken. This is not a piece of fruit. The bottle is shaped like an apple, but it never occurred to me that bitting the bottle was an option.
