Did everything by the instructions but scones were flat. Not what I had in mind.

You just add water to the mix, nothing else. But, you do have to shape the scones. I floured my fingers before making a circle and cutting wedges. Glaze recipe included. I recommend adding the glaze. I also served the scones with lemon curd or jam as scones are traditionally dry.

Very, very easy to make. You will end up adding more water, and (at least for me) baking a couple of minutes extra. But, absolutely delicious, smooth and just yummy.

All my friends liked them at my English tea party. I served them with clotted cream (ordered from Amazon) and jam...a big hit!
