My daughter moved out of her crib and into her "big girl" bed. I was nervous to lock her door, but wanted to be alerted (loudly) should she leave her room at night. This doorbell works perfectly! The sensor is on her door and then the chime is in our room. It's loud and flashes blue (we can even hear it if we're downstairs). Neither my husband nor I have slept through it. When she's playing during the day, it's easy to turn the sensor off with a simple switch on the sensor if she's going in/out of her room. Definitely gives us the peace of mind we were looking for!

We installed this on the mandoor of our detached garage as a security feature. A sound goes off each time the door is opened and we can hear it loud/clear throughout the home. Works great! Was easy to install - came with the needed command strips. And isn’t an eye sore at all, or hardly noticeable on the door.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this to use in my shed and to monitor my mailbox. I haven’t tried to install it in the shed yet, but it’s ideal for my mailbox. I have a ThermoPro temperature sensor right under it so it stays in place (the other part is magnetic and sticks nicely).The receiver is about ten feet away, on the other side of an exterior wall. I also have a metal door, but so far it has been very functional. I can move the receiver if needed.In the video you can hear the receiver sounding inside the house when I open up my mailbox. That’ll help me know when mail arrives, or if someone is poking around in there that shouldn’t be.Edited 6/6/25- this sensor is great and it works perfectly, but I discovered a flaw: if I am not in the same room as the chime and don’t hear it, I have no way of knowing if anyone has been in there.So, I am replacing it with a data logging smart sensor that will work with Alexa. I hate to return it because it does work brilliantly, but I am trying to integrate everything into a smart system.This is still a 5 star rating and I have no problems with it. Even though I am going with a different system, it’s a good product and very functional.Btw a piece of tape will keep it from sliding around if you install it in your mailbox like I did.

I wish it had an app to notify you so you could use it when not at home. My son has seizures and gets manic afterwards so an app would let me know n the middle of the night.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this is the best thing I’ve bought to feel calm and at peace now that my 5-year-old daughter sleeps on her own. Super easy to install, different tones to choose from, and it literally brings peace of mind knowing that we’ll be alerted as soon as she gets up. 5 stars for sure!!!!

Great for helping know if my toddler is trying to “escape” or not! Love that you can choose the sounds too!
