I used these pens 30 years ago when working as a writer/editor. They came in gray and dark blue. When I saw the “summer neon” shades, I had to have them. Great everyday pen. Put them in your pocket, glove box, handbag or nightstand.

PaperMate never should have discontinued these! I was thrilled to see this old favorite style pen back and in neon barrel colors. It's a little less hefty than I recall the original being, but the ink is smooth and vivid. I'd love to see this back in all of the original colors, especially purple. 25 years ago I loved the capped version of this over click, but now I prefer click pens in general, so this was a perfect slice of nostalgia for me. I might buy another pack to be sure I have enough if they're retired again.
