Hi- does this have MSG? If so, do you know of any brands of instant dashi without MSG? Thanks!!

It does, and I am very MSG sensitive, but I have not had any reactions to Hon Dashi. I use it in my miso soup recipe and it makes a world of difference - I'm only using 1.5 teaspoons of the Hon Dashi granules for four cups of liquid and 1/2 cup of miso. My hubby and I love it! I searched online and this was the most reputable brand I found. Good luck!

MISO SOUP BAY-BEEEE!

The place I live (an Island) with only a Vons as the grocery store doesn’t carry many varieties of products. I recently started making Miso soup because of the health benefits. I was using chicken and vegetable broth as a substitute for dashi cause I couldn’t find it here. I finally ordered it and my soup has tasted SO much better. Super easy to use and enhances flavor to restaurant quality. Just add a little dash of Dashi and miso paste and bam!
