Burt's Bees 100% Natural Tinted Lip Balm, Sweet Violet with Shea Butter & Botanical Waxes - 1 Tube

As you can see by my photo’s I am older at 63yrs of age and very light skinned. Also with freckles as you can see one up above my lip and many across my nose as shown in my 3rd photo. I was very impressed with this Burt’s Bees, SWEET VIOLET Lip Tint. 1st I like how they secure the cover into place and make it easy to remove by just pulling on a white tag as you can see I referred to in my 2nd photo. The cap itself stays securely on but not so much as to make it hard to pop off when needed. Then you apply to your top & bottom lips, and it goes on quite smoothly with little to no effort to apply, even if you’re not in front of a mirror. Please see the final result for me in my 4th photo. While it’s subtle, the tint does, in my opinion brighten my skin, make my lips look less dry and actually look more natural. I feel it also compliments my skin tone due to the fact I am so light and anything darker would either make my skin look washed out or too brassy. It also feels like I am moisturizing my lips. I have very dry skin, hair and lips, therefore this tint is beneficial to moisturizing my lips and keeping them in a fine condition like I would use conditioner for my hair or Moisturizing Lotion for my skin. I'm a deep winter (dark hair + eyes, cool/neutral undertone, tan in the summer, pale in the winter) and purple-berry shades look best on me. Sweet Violet is the only shade from the collection that has this tone. It makes a huge difference from bare lips, but it's super low maintenance compared to lipstick, which I love! It feels like regular lip balm - not thick or sticky, really moisturizing, and no horrible taste (I love the shade of Nivea's Blackberry tinted lip balm, but I cannot stand the taste)! It also gives me enough color to wear it year round, even in the summer when I get tan :)

These are terrific. I think I have them in all colors. And I'm a product junkie who has probably 100 similar products from various high end companies. Is this my favorite balm? No. But it's a feel good, looks nice balm for a little bitty tiny price

They say its rose but the color is actually hibiscus, not rose at all. Disappointing. False advertising.

love this product but it is hard to find the colour selection in the stores around me - are they discontinuing it? Anyhow ordered lots to last me a while:)
