I ordered both an XL and a L, based on the sizing chart. I am 5'3" and weigh 144lbs. Because my waist measures 35" I thought I would need the XL, even though I wear a size 10 jean and medium t-shirts. The XL was way too big and the Large fits well. I really think I could have worn the medium but don't have time to order another. The lacing in the front will allow for adjusting the tightness. The dress is very nice and heavier weight than I thought it would be. It is a good value for the price and much better quality than a different brand I ordered. The top portion of the dress is lined. I can't wait to wear it to the German Festival in our town. It looks great!

I was not expecting a lot given the price but this dirndl is precious!! I am 5’9” and 155 lbs and ordered a medium. My bra size is 34 D. If fit me perfectly! Only issue was the sleeve opening was a little tight. I received compliments all day long. Don’t hesitate on this one.

This dress was so much fun to wear at a recent Oktoberfest. I received lots of compliments and was very comfortable to wear for many hours. The quality is good and it fit great.

Bought this early for Oktoberfest this year since I may go to several and would like to have different looks. It’s about as authentic as you can get in modern America! (I do have a real dirndl that is def better quality, but this is a close second that would fool anyone—at least after it’s ironed/de-wrinkled lol!)I love the print and the vibrancy of the colors; very true to the pix online. I do also feel like I can wear this without a slip (ie it’s not see-through).The chemise is decent quality (not premium, but does a good job) and I love the trim detail! The chemise also runs a little big, and the whole dress is maybe half an inch too big, so while I’m glad I bought the 2XL, I’d def want to wear this with a bra (whereas with my real dirndl I don’t need to wear a bra). Regardless, this dirndl is very comfy, I can move around freely, and with the apron cinched and tied around the waist, it makes it the perfect size for me.The apron and the bodice laces are a satiny/silky texture and better quality than I expected! And I appreciate that this is a more modern-traditional length (not skimpy short) and that the apron ties are long in order to properly tie around the waist.The whole thing def needs to be ironed or steamed and I do wish it had pockets, but those are both easy fixes. :)Overall, I’m extremely happy with my purchase and can’t wait to wear it!!For reference, I am 5’3”, 180lbs, and my measurements are 44-36-46. I bought the 2XL and it was a tiny bit loose all around, but I think a size down would not have zipped around my bust. At least I can breathe and move in this and the apron helped shape the whole thing up just fine!
