I ordered two of the Sistema Microwave Soup Mugs (656 ml) with the steam-release vented lids, priced at around £5 each — excellent value for something so practical. As usual, they arrived the very next day with Prime, neatly packaged and ready to go. Right out of the box, the quality stood out. The plastic feels thick, sturdy, and built to last, and those signature Sistema locking clips are brilliantly designed — solid, satisfying to snap into place, and far more secure than the flimsy lids you get with cheaper brands. They give you full confidence that nothing’s going to leak or pop open in the microwave. For the first test, I made a quick batch of Maggi instant noodles. I poured in the hot water, flipped open the steam vent, and microwaved it for just 30 seconds. The result was spot-on — the noodles cooked perfectly, evenly heated, and the lid kept all the steam inside where it belonged. Best of all, there wasn’t a single splash or speck inside the microwave afterward. I also really appreciate that Sistema uses BPA-free plastic, which is something I pay close attention to now — especially having become more health-conscious since being in remission from cancer. I’ll admit it—I’m a bit of a Sistema fan. Their stuff is always consistently high-quality, but these Microwave Soup Mugs are really handy. Perfect Size: At 656 ml, they are the ideal size for a generous portion of soup, stew, or even baked beans for your toast. No More Microwave Mess: The steam release vent in the lid is a lifesaver. You can heat your food thoroughly without the lid popping off or creating those dreaded "soup splatters" all over the microwave. Sturdy & Durable: The clips are secure and easy to use, and the handle stays relatively cool, making it much easier (and safer) to grab than a standard ceramic bowl. Easy Clean: They go straight into the dishwasher and come out looking brand new. If you’re looking for a reliable, no-nonsense container for work lunches or quick dinners at home, you can't go wrong here. Sistema just gets it right!

Very good. Had one before and someone stole the plastic vent cover. Sistema don't do spare parts so you end up buying a whole new mug. Not very environmentally friendly.

I purchased this set of 3 soup mugs for primarily doing super noodles, - which these are absolutely PERFECT for, - can also be used for soup, porridge, etc, & their size is good, the Lids clip on securely, & theres an air release switch on the top. These can be used in the microwave, & are easy to clean. VERY good quality, & price was deffo worth it for a set of 3 at such good quality. Would highly recommend.

Use these for work, good quality, no leakage issues and ideal particularly in winter for soup

Love the Sistema products! They’re lightweight are durable, solid, lid closure is a perfect fit and these containers are top notch for a reasonable price. The red colour is loud and distinctive but I like it!

Brilliant no more soup splattering over the microwave. My son and daughter in law put me on to these after I’d had a total hip replacement. So much easier to use would definitely recommend.

Heb deze beker aangeschaft om soep in te kunnen bewaren en mee te nemen naar mijn werk om het daar op te kunnen warmen. Had al ergens in de recensies gelezen dat deze lekt. Toch de gok genomen, na bezorging direct water in gedaan. Op zijn kop gehouden en inderdaad, ze hadden gelijk. Deze gaat mooi retour. Heb inmiddels een soepbeker bij de Hema gescoord die ook nog eens goedkoper is. Die van de Hema lekt niet ;) Doe er je voordeel mee.

Package arrived in perfect condition and was well packaged definitely worth the price which was cheap enough like that it’s BPA free would definitely recommend this product its a good size mug

A decent size and the lid fits securely if you want to take a snack with you. Ideal to warm up soup or beans as the handle is quite solid so no fear of it giving way and you burning yourself with hot contents. Very pleased with it
