Great upgrade for my landscape lights!
I run white landscape lights most of the time, but i do put in colored lights at certain holidays. I use red and green at Christmas and Red, White, and blue on the Fourth of July. I have had colored lights for several years and the color on the lenses were starting to crack and leak white light through. It was time for me to upgrade my lights. I started checking around the colored MR16 20W lights were running 5-6 bucks each. These were slightly more expensive so I thought I would give them a try and am I glad I did! I ordered 9 lights total and installed them. Each package came with its own remote so I do have a few extra, but that doesn't make a difference. I had no troubles with the install, although some lights don't sit perfectly centered in the uplight. That doesn't make any difference when they shine, though. As you can see, the white is plenty bright for my house. I took one picture with the porch light on (I like that view the best) and one with it off. They accent as well as my other lights did. When it comes to changing colors, it's a fight over who gets to do it. I have two kids and they really enjoyed playing with the colors. Colors are not as bright as the white, but they still provide a great accent. It used to take me a good 30 minutes to get out the right colored bulbs, replace them (including climbing back in the prickly bushes), and put up the white bulbs. It then took me another 30 to do that again when it was time to go back to white. This year, I was able to change the color of ALL the lights in less than a minute. The remote worked well without having to be directly above the light and i didn't get poked by a single bush. I changed all of the back to white when it was 30 degrees outside and I didn't mind at all. That would have been horrible the old way. So far, these lights have been great, provide a good amount of accent light, are easy to change, and I highly recommend them!

Great options, looks beautiful except......
This works very well and it is a good replacement for Christmas lighting as you can change the colors on each bulb when the holiday seasons arrive. You can have a color scheme for every holiday. Only issue is that the colors are not very bright, just two led on the colors, the normal color which I would average to be around 3000K is suitable for the landscaping. The other issue is that if you need to change the colors on the light fixtures you need to go close to every fixture and use the remote. Which is good and bad depending on how you want to arrange your colors for the holidays. It is a little pricey but the effects and the flexibility is worth the extra dollars. Overall I love this and I no longer would need to be stringing up lights or buying more decorations for the holidays. These are fantastic.

High failure rate
I have deployed 14 of these bulbs and 4 failed in that I can no longer change the color or intensity. They are locked on to warm White on highest brightness. No response to IR controller. These are 4 out of 6 that I had set on highest brightness that failed. The other eight that I set on medium brightness did not fail. It gets hot in Texas so I suspect summer nights are what killed them. I didn't notice they failed until I tried to change them for Christmas a month after the warranty period ran out. So no replacement, only an offer for $10 coupon. Other than that, these are decent bulbs with nice color and high output. I guess I'm stuck with replacing some each year, and hopefully I check before the next warranty period runs out.

Bright White But Lighter Color Shades May Have Bleeding
Was looking to replace some 20W halogen landscape spot lights. For most of the holidays, I replace the white lamps with other color halogen lamps to brighten up the house. You can find some colors online, but frustrating to have to always replace lamps all the time. Wanted to try something like this. I first bought one pack (of three lamps) to test out. Took a few weeks to arrive (assuming were coming from China), but they eventually did and were packaged well. Replaced three of my halogen lamps and was very surprised and happy that the lumen output was very bright and that they were a warm color (more yellowish) just as described. Easy to change the colors with the remote (only way to change them) and the remote range is good enough to where you can easily change each lamp independently without all the others changing. The video shows me changing colors manually from the remote in the beginning. Then showing them fading. DO NOT think that the lamps change in a "flickering" transition. This is because they are run on a 12V AC system and the phone camera sensor is picking up the power cycling (like when you record an old tube TV with a digital camera and see horizontal lines). The fades and changes are nice and smooth. Once you set a color or brightness it will remember the choice and stay what way once the light comes back on. I liked them so much that I bought six more (two packs) for the three other spots and a couple more I will add in the Spring. Things to know: While I have used other LED spots before finding these, I noticed they run pretty warm. Not as much as halogen, but up there as compared to other white LED lamps. The white is bright and powerful. The spread is wide as opposed to a more narrow focused spotlight. Which is good for closer lighting applications. The primary red, green and blue are bright, too! Nice wall wash. However, as you move down to the lighter shades, you can start to pick up a slight discoloration in the output. Assume this is because of the way the lamp is trying to blend colors. Look at the second picture. The image is the bottom range of red, or "yellow" and you can see some small orange spots. If you are a distance away it's not so bad, but noticeable.

Great in every way, if the colors were brighter
These bulbs check almost all the boxes. They're for outside use. They fit housings from VOLT. Once you set them to a color, they stay that color after being turned off. BUT, the colors are not very bright. The colors are nice, but they are not enough to uplight a tree like I had hoped.

Just what I needed
Used this to replace a halogen light + color wheel in a fiber-optic Christmas tree. Works extremely well. Each spotlight has 2 RGB LEDs and 6 warm white LEDs; for my application I'd rather have more RGB and fewer warm white, but it works just fine anyway. The warm white LEDs are so bright that, once this mode is selected, it's hard to switch back to the other colors; I have to bring the remote right up to the bulb.

Do not last long.
I really liked these because the white was much better than other versions. Worked great for holidays. One year later 4 out of the 5 only work as a white light and all other options do not work.

Great product-Fantastic customer service!
Makergroup Upgraded RGB+WW MR16 LED Bulb Color Changing, Landscape Bulbs I've been using these bulbs for a few years now and have over 30 running as outdoor landscape lighting. This particular bulb is a bit unique and has a very dependable color change 'sync' ability which sets it apart from other RGB bulbs. In the color modes the bulbs provide good general ambiance lighting while in the warm white mode they are quite bright and provide very good spot illumination which can be dimmed [if needed] using the remote. I would recommend them and will be buying more as my project expands. In regards to 'after care'....I cannot say enough about Elsa- the customer service manager for MakerGroup who provided Amazing customer service-fast response and total product knowledge. Elsa went above and beyond to make sure that a bulb issue I was having was corrected and showed that the company completely stands behind their product 110%. It was refreshing to interact with a professional who not only knows but cares and she is a credit to the company.

Good Lights, Great Customer Service
I got the wrong lights initially but prompt response from the company's customer service manager sorted out the problem and shipped the right ones quickly. Very impressed. Lights work great and look nice. You have to be pointing the remote at the top of the bulb from not more then about 10 feet away, so don't think that you are going to be able to point the remote out the front door and be able to change the colour of multiple lights at once, but no big deal. Bulbs seem high quality and sturdy too. I had different coloured bulbs that I would swap out occasionally, so these replace a bunch. I think worth it.
