Step cane
I bought this in 2024 and I like it but I didn't use it very often. Yesterday on July 4th I brought it with me and was so disappointed because the metal pole on it cracked right off. Luckily I wasn't using it on steps at the time, just walking to my car. So it only lasted about a year or less.

Unstable
I thought this would be perfect for my needs, but when I tried to assemble it, the cane part wouldn't go onto the base in a way that would allow stability for the user. I returned and ordered a different brand.

Didn’t work for me
I ordered this cane because my legs are too weak for stairs. However, I still found it. Not helpful for either up or down. I returned it.

Not that effective!
Ordered it for a 60 year old person who had some knee issues while climbing up and down the stairs but it didn’t seem to help that much so returned it. Also, there is an additional safety concern of the stand toppling and causing imbalance. So wouldn’t recommend it, personally.

Item returned
Product received with hole in side of box. Parts were missing so could not assemble. After further examination, the product seemed a bit unstable for use on stairs so we elected to return the item and not reorder.

It Really Works
I have a musc look e disease and it's difficult getting up steps. I use bars but I recently had hand surgery and knew I would need additional support. This makes getting up stairs a breeze.

Stair climber, not descender
The climber is difficult to use without a handrail on the opposite side for balance going up stairs. Very wobbly and unsecured coming downstairs. Totally disappointed, sorry I purchased it.
