Effective drainage
I used this to drain the area under a large bungalow gable end, where the south westerlies often hit it with a lot of rain. It was buried in a narrow trench and surrounded with small pebbles. A new concept for me. Not intended to act like a normal drainpipe, it actually allows the rain water to drain away naturally into the ground and only comes into use when the rain is so heavy that natural drainage cannot work quickly enough and the trench fills with water. That is when the slots in the pipe allow the excess water to enter and get carried away to an outfall some distance away. Excellent procuct. It works and is far from expensive. Highly recommended.

Garden now drains brilliantly. I really do think this is top notch ...
This is a high quality pipe line, though its only 60mm it really does work well. I guess same as many things its effectiveness lies in the preperation first, I dug a trench using the highly acurate "1 fork" depth, then i put in a layer of stones, Layed the pipe on top of that, then threw on some stones to about 4" below ground level, then i broke the top soil and raked it back over the top of the stones.Garden now drains brilliantly. I really do think this is top notch stuff, its very sturdy, there is a good end on one side, which I used as the drainage end, for the "start end" there is no "cap" as such, not so much of an issue, cut the bottom off a pringles box, leaving around 3" placed the pipe end inside that, then duct taped it on (idea being that soil can not enter and clog up the pipe work).I found it tough enough for the job, but not a problem really to cut to legnth, and much easier to handle than the 100mm stuff. Much easier to handle and to roll out . Really good value for money. Am more than happy with it.

Good quality
Good quality product. Lay it correctly inside some nonwoven geofabric and it will do an excellent job. There is no difference between this product and what the trades use. Remember that the perforations must be at the bottom when you lay it. It may seem intuitively wrong but that's how it will work most efficiently. Recommended.
