k6 dual 4ohm nice woofer !! loud and deep bass
ok ok so I made the wifes ride my test vehicle I am really happy with this woofer. big woofer with a reasonable depth. nice solid speaker. had to modify the box as the woofer diameter is big and used a spacer to make sure it has room to stay cool but the extra time is worth it. the sound quality is good I crossed it over at 80hz and it will shake everything. I did prep the trunk and doors with sound deadening. bought it to upgrade a kicker comp slim, a nice little speaker (vented) but this is a beast! I was surprised at the sound! I put it in a 0.6 sealed box and on 335 watts rms this is hits very hard! low and deep. part of a 5 channel audio pipe amp class a/b setup in a chevy cruze I ohmed mine out as well and each was 4 dead on and when I wired em up parallel 2ohms even I have 1.2k on 2 10's of a good brand but I going to add 2 of these to my want list they are a bargain

12” k6, 4ohm cant get over them
rockville subs are truly cheap and super fun and loud. get a good box and amp for them, used them for 2 years and all though those winters and they still sound just as good as when i got them, they arnt gonna blow out your windshield but man they are super fun and loud and they do sound really good with the music

Hard hitting subs at a solid price.
Bought a set of these Oct 2023 and they’ve been the most reliable subs I’ve ever owned. Started them out on a CT Sounds CT700.1D amp and moved to the 1000w version. They’ve been through 2 boxes now, the punishment of a dirty work truck, a downward facing box, and hit just as hard as they did the first day they were hooked up. Great subs. Buying one for the wife’s 4Runner soon for these very reasons.

100% perfect
put 4 of these into a 2002 ford ranger extended cab, along with a full interior audio system. the box dimensions i used were 25x25x14”. the box was strapped to the back wall of the truck for seat clearance. powering these subs are 2 Rockville RVA-m3 amplifiers. 2 sets of 2 subs are wired at 1 ohm to two different box wire connectors with all 4 subs firing the same direction. this thing hits HARD and DEEP. it sounds very balanced with a good tune, eq, and low pass settings. i’d 100% recommend these

Very Yes
Current setup is a 1st gen Durango with the rear seats folded down and the middle row removed. I've got a box up against the tailgate/hatch, and i just threw a pair of these in there. Certainly an improvement over the previous units, in pretty much every aspect. Im supplying power to them with a boss audio 1500w monobkock, and im certain that this is a limiting factor currently. Even still, my driving soundtrack tends to become the neighborhood Alarm clock. These speakers make the picture frames on your living room wall buzz and vibrate when im rollin through. Soda in my cup holders go flat in record timing. My mirrors are made absolutely useless when I play something like LTE, XLR, or Glacier Pack... and there's still more to be had once I improve my amp game. Also, they arrived sooner than expected. I did have my worries when only 1 box arrived on my porch - luckily it turned out to be a split shipment and speaker 2 arrived the following day

Good stuff
Compliance curve is sweet. Excursion is good. Fit and finish is excellent. Needs break in. QTS is off. I'm finding a lot of woofers with QTS in the .9 range like this one. Fs is right on. Times have changed and you've just got to tune lower than fs, lose efficiency and roll with it for sq. Or tune high for output. Or go sealed because it's under damped. This is all a byproduct of stronger suspensions in modern subwoofers. This is to protect it from high power and low frequency over excursion. Pretty flexible. Good value.

Great Sub at a fraction of the cost
To be quite honest, I was skeptical installing anything but Alpine, I’ve been into car audio since 1998 and ALL I ever used was Alpine... Got married and and had Better things to spend my money and time. But the Audiophile never went away.... Took and old Type R 12 , made a box, wired up the Alpines and away I went. However I didn’t have the extra $$ to fork out for a newer Alpine sub, so I started watching a few YouTube channels and they were giving a Rockville review. A REAL honest Review... so for more than half the cost of alpine I decided to try this Rockville K6D4 V2. I’m running this off of a Alpine MrvM500 wired down to 2ohms, Wow, I couldn’t believe that a Sub in this price range would be built with such quality. I broke them in for a week and finally let it loose today.... My mirror fell off of my Windshield... I’m impressed...

No complaints
Hot damn! 12 hrs running time so far and it sounds great. Worth the money at $137. Clean. The Rockville db15 might be too much for it, but loud as i want it, nothing is getting hot after hours of rock. Stereo feeding it 63Hz with no gain. Amp cranked. Paired to an alpine system with a db55. I finally have the sound i been looking for. Seems subtle even, but powerful and sharp. I will let yous know when i get deaf or dumb enough to blow it. Update, maxed everything including volume and my eyeballs were vibrating so hard that i couldnt see.

It's good
I already had a good sub that I was happy with but I saw this K6 on sale and couldn't resist. I plotted the k6 in winisd to see how it would perform in my existing enclosure and it matched the old subs lows while having greater response in the upper frequency range were most music has its bass (1.7cft 33hz, 500watt rms). So I broke in the K6 with some frequency sweeps on the bench for a few hours and then swapped out the subs. The winisd predictions were correct , the K6 handles the higher bass frequency's better than the old sub while still able to get low and it's plenty loud for a 10, put alot of 12's to shame for the same price actually. One thing to note, this sub needs about an extra 0.2 inch on the cutout hole than most other subs. Have a dremel or something similar ready to widen the mounting hole on your box.

Ram 1500 upgrade
Very impressed. Didn’t fit the box I bought to fit under the seat but with a bit of hack carpentry and well placed sound foam it fit in. Using super cheap boss amp dialled way down and fills the cab with bass you can feel. Kept under my $500 budget for the whole deal. Battery terminal crimper included. Don’t just attach speaker wire on one side as I did. When I followed the diagram and instructions it sounded even better. Rounds out my factory ram with upgraded speakers perfectly. Solid and heavy

Very well built and good price ,
I have only rated the sound at four stars because I have not put full power though it yet , sounds great to me I mounted it a 1950 Coke cooler and have in the trunk of my 1966 Galaxie and it gives all the bass I need .jimmie
