It works perfect although I will say to be careful as it is a little fragile. Top adjustment arm where the gears come together, I'd screwed to the point where I could feel the gears, then backed off a bit adjust the arm where you want it then tighten but allow the arm to move a little you can feel the gears are in the correct position then tighten down fully.

It is nice, but I needed it more for height increase without the huge s shaped bar. It comes straight from the wall and does not provide the height I need for the 6 ft 6 in teenager.

Overall from end to end it's 17". The end cap is a little to small as it's not a tight fit on the arm and when pressed against the wall doesn't day flush against the wall. So not a clean looking installation. Works as designed.

I'm very pleased with my purchase of 2 of these shower arms. I used one to elevate my shower head and the second to bring it out into the shower further. The gear type locking joints make sure it stays securely where I want it.

I needed this piece to position a rain fall shower head far enough away from the wall. It works and was the right price.

This shower arm was used in a complete bathroom remodeling project. Worked quite well and looks great.
