Skip the big blue brand and save your wallet!
This review if for the Vevor 88-lb rated steel bike repair stand. This stand is an asbolute steal at $57! Steel construction, tool/accessory tray, 360 degree rotating clamp allows you to clamp by the top tube or seat post and tilt in any position for easy bike maintenance. The stand was incredibly easy to assemble, no instructions but you won't need them as it's pretty self-explanatory. Just make sure you line up the ridge on the inside of the mounting bracket for the clamp with the open slot in the horizontal post. I love that the stand folds away for storage and transportation if needed. it looks like a professional stand and acts like one, too. Recommended with confidence. My only warning, which would maybe knock off 1/3 or 1/2 a star - BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THE QUICK RELEASE CLAMPS! Only loosen a half turn, if at all. There are very easy to completely unscrew and can be tricky to put back together! I found out the hard way.

Dumb as a box of rocks…. What was I thinking?
What have I been doing all these years bending over and balancing a bike while I work on them..??? I have read a review that said this bike stand won’t hold bikes up or down? These people must be complete morons. I couldn’t disagree more. Read on to see why I LOVE this stand! I decided to buy this stand as my back has been giving me trouble as I age. (59yo now) What have I been missing all these years! Wow! This stand is fantastic and far exceeded in every way. Let me tell you how… I purchased the steel model as I wanted it heavy as possible to assist in holding bigger/heavier bikes. This holds a massive big 29” full size BMX with ease. It doesn’t tip regardless of adjustable angle. Speaking of adjustable, this will twist the bike up or down with a simple twist of a large grip handle taking second to go from raising the front wheel to raising the back wheel in seconds! You can also twist the bike while on the stand by adjusting the pressure on the main stand post. Again, simple. Sitting on a stool, the bike chain is chest high making any maintenance on the chain, crank set, or gears simple! Yes, sometimes I even stand while working on the bike… Pulling wheels, working on stem set, set post, name it…. It’s all chest high and with a simple twist of the large handle you can raise either either side of the bike. Just a pleasure to use and makes working on bikes fun, no longer a choir. I LOVE this stand! The stand is very well made, good materials, well designed, clean manufacturing, and VERY easy to put together. It’s mostly put together, just needs the legs and main arms connected. It took me less than 5 minutes and I’m not smart. It also comes with a small tool tray (I do wish that was slightly larger). It also comes with a rim bar of keeping rim from rotating as a convenience. Although I rarely use it. It has rubber feet to prevent stand slipping, sliding, and moving as well as protective rubber grips where the clamp connects to the bike frame to protect it from any damage. The clamp easily adjust to larger or smaller tube size in seconds. It is sturdy and stable. I can’t fine one major issue I don’t like about this stand. To take your bike in for a tune-up is $50-$100 bucks. This thing has made tuning fun! I’m now pulling out all my bikes and working on them with ease! The stand has paid for itself many times over and I have only had it for 2 weeks. I do a tune-up now in 15 mins where before it was a pain. 30-45 mins with the bike tipping, falling over, and getting whacked in the head by the handle bars! Not to mention, my BACK giving me grief the whole time. Buy it and this stand will make life so much easier on your back, wallet, and time it saves you. Note: If I have any issues with this stand or their customer service, I will update this review! “#BikeLife4Ever

Bike stand review
Item was easy to assemble. Item is sturdy, heavy gauge metal, Allen tool needed for tray was provided, tool tray has magnetic strip to hold small metal parts. Item works as designed and was able to hold and accomodate my trek bike. Only issue i see and others may encounter is the clamp that holds the bike has a limited opening span. It needs a longer bolt. The clamp needs to open about 1/2 inch wider.

Good basic bike stand. Good value for the money.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and build of this bike stand. It was a snap to put together and it holds my 30 lb hybrid bike perfectly. The screw knobs tighten well enough to hold securely with just firm thumb-tight pressure; you would want to be careful about over tightening them because they are plastic knobs. The base is wide and I would have to think stable enough for almost any kind of bicycle that was a suitable weight. I purchased the 80 lb model because I wanted to assure stability even though my bicycle is less than half of that weight. I have seen reviews here that that are critical for much heavier bikes, but I don’t think I would’ve bought a stand at this price point and this weight rating if I had an e-bike that weighed more than 60 lb! but this is just my speculation. The front wheel stabilizer works well enough, although I wonder about the durability of the rubber straps that secure either end of it. The adjustable rod for the stabilizer needed to be lubricated in order to be easily adjustable; because it is not a load bearing rod and slippage is not an issue, lubrication is warranted. Obviously, you would not want to lubricate the main rods because that would weaken the grip of the screw knobs and clamps. For the cost, I think this is a very good product.

Decent, but slightly damaged
Mostly sturdy and worth the price but one section came super scratched and beat up. Almost looks used it wasn’t during transit because everything else looks great and box was fine. I’m still going to keep it cause I don’t care that much about the esthetic of it.

Excellent Bike Repair Stand for home users
Terrific work stand and sturdy as all get out. So I'm satisfied to the extreme. It's not what I'd consider pro shop level simply due to it lacking quick levers and fast-easy adjustability for a variety of bikes as would be needed in a shop situation. But in every other regard it's pro level quality throughout. And simple and fast once dialed in for my two bikes. (One road one MTB). And it ships well packed with bubble wrap bags around everything and a sturdy double mill cardboard box that surely is why the largely preassembled stand arrived in perfect condition and working order. Setup was a snap and at most 10 minutes until it was holding my bike securely and I could mustle it without worries while tuning it and installing a couple upgraded components in a fraction of the time and fine tuning to an extent I wouldn't typically have done when doing stuff without the must have convenience of a stand. As an aside, I have to give a shout-out to VEVOR. I've purchased three different things that were VEVOR branded thus far and each were outstanding, in terms of quality, design and flawless service each time. In fact this stand came days earlier than expected, at a price that is unbelievable. I'd expect it to be three times what I paid. And it wants for nothing as a home use bike stand. Feature rich would be another quality worthy of mention. Plus I am now officially a brand conscious buyer of anything by VEVOR. I love you guys!

Awesome and cost effective
This is the only bike maintenance stand I've used, so keep that in mind. For the price, this thing is well worth it if you have a couple bikes to maintain. Having this allowed me to get the crappiest, cheapest, most frustrating derailleurs shifting perfectly. Handles the weight of bicycles just fine. There is a lot of plastic so durability may end up being an issue down the line, but I've tuned up 5 bikes since buying this and nothing has shoen any sign of failure.

not really usable due to poor head clamp
80 lb unit. 1. The head clamp rotates on a 20lb bike and so it does not stay in place. 2. The Jaws are not wide enough to grab the horizontal tube on my bike like my bench mounted bike repair stand. 3. The base legs are very hard to spead out. There is no way that the head clamp on this repair stand can hold a bike from rotating unless its a thin dia tube road bike that can be held in the middle already balanced. I wanted to like this stand and i must say the steel is sturdy, but thats all. I very surprise how poorly this stand works. All other vevor brand items have impressed me and this one really made me dissapointed. 88lb unit - 1. Better since it uses two legs for clearance but the head clamp is plastic and so weak, I can see its ready to break at the jaws. Some other reviewers already notice this and my bike is less than 25lbs.!....not sure I will keep this and risk it breaking. If the jaw clamp fails, replacing this is impossible. I don't think the plastic is fiber reinforced ABS. Either it needs to be reinforced with metal or made from metal. The bench unit I bought was all steel and holds firmly.
