I bought this because I saw girls on TikTok wearing them and I was like I want to be like those girls and I didn’t think that it was going to work as well as it did. I tried it on as soon as it came in and I wiggled my head every which way, and it didn’t come out not only did it not come out, but it actually looked very nice in my hair and I actually love how it looks because not only is it very simple and elegant, but it actually works to hold my hair in place in a very professional manner. I have started wearing it to work. I have started wearing it around the house. It’s just a nice little accessory that is not super annoying to have on and works with all types of hair and it doesn’t bend or break which is very nice. It’s actually very sturdy. I like the color black because it goes with everything I might have bought gold once upon a time but the black is actually very nice and cute for the price it is. It’s actually not bad. I was expecting a lot more expensive but seven dollars is not the worst expense for hair product that less if it had been one of those clips that can possibly break or bend then yeah I would be upset with spending the kind of money that seven dollars is cause I’m very cheap but it’s lasting it hasn’t tarnished it’s gone through some wear and tear and it has not gotten torn up at all. It is very sturdy. It is very nice and I highly recommend any girl who has watched those TikTok videos who wants to do their hair, very nice and professional and simple and very easy that it’s not very hard to use. I literally twist my hair and stick it in and it’s very easy.

I have thin, fine straight that is midway down my back. I’m trying to grow my hair out healthier and stronger, and eliminate using hair ties as much as possible. I’ve used several styles of hair clips and am not really pleased with the additional weight on my head and need to constantly fix it. I chose to try out a French pin after seeing several TikTok’s about them, but was skeptical that it wouldn’t hold well in my hair. I am pleasantly surprised and excited that this is the easiest hair accessory I’ve used so far! I love how simple it is to just twist my hair and have it stay put, and I LOVE how light the weight of this pin is. It’s light but still thick and sturdy, and really pretty. It takes a little getting used to, and you have to point the clip up and then back down to get a strong hold. It’s comfortable to wear, and is not bendy. It’s not sharp either. It’s the perfect length and with my hair I can hide it completely if I want or let it show and it still holds. If you have fine hair like mine, I would recommend using a little hairspray or texture spray if you’re using it on a wash day to give a little extra grip. But overall I love this pin and am so impressed and excited to have a new accessory to wear without damaging my hair!

I not a huge reviewer, but I had to leave my feedback for this. I have fine curly 3a hair and hair ties do not stay in for me. This french hair pin held my mid lenth bob in a beautiful and secure french twist for a party.

really like this French hair pin. It’s easy to gather my long hair into a bun and secure it with just this pin. It holds well throughout the day, and I’ve gotten several compliments when I go out. The only downside is the large Kitsch logo at the top, which looks a little tacky in my opinion. Aside from that, it’s a solid, stylish option for everyday hair styling.

FINALLY a well made pin that works! I’ve tried the $80 Avigail Adam pin, the $2 Chinese version of the Avigail pin, hand made Etsy French pins, and none of them work! They’re either too long and jab your head, too short to collect long hair, or too smooth to grab my fine slippery hair. This pin has strength and weight without being heavy, it’s the perfect length, and holds my fine slippery hair up all day without being too tight. A trick is to thread the ends of your hair between the forks before twisting your hair up. This holds the pin in securely without your hair being tied up tight.

This pin is pretty big and definitely made for thick, long hair. My hair is fairly thin and fine, so this was too heavy. It’s definitely made out of high quality metal, but it is a bit heavy because of that. It’s also fairly long, so if you have shorter hair it also wouldn’t be great for that. It fell pretty easily out of my hair, but that’s also because I have thin hair. If you have long/thick hair, this would probably hold your hair a lot better. It’s not the most versatile pin, it’s pretty much good for a french twist and maybe a bun but that’s about it. But if that’s what you’re looking for and you have the right hair, this would be a good option for you. The pin is pretty and shiny and matches the picture so you’re getting what you think you’re getting.

I love this! My hair is so long & thick in the summer I can NOT wear it down. This makes it so easy to put my hair in a bun. Very durable & cute hair accessory.

I picked this up because I was intrigued. I have bottom of my booty length hair. The advert I saw said it was super easy to use and it holds hair gracefully. Or something like that. It is also metal. I live on the seashore and everything rusts, so I wasn’t sure if this would work. My hair is thick and curly, too, so a bun looks like a triple decker burger on top of my head. I need to use thick bands to keep it contained I am amazed how easy this is to use and how incredibly well it holds my hair. I just make my regular bun and then I just slip it in from the top. It is very smooth, no snags, and gently tapered and curved. I am able to work from sun up to sun down and I never had to adjust it or redo my hair. I think I will experiment with hair styles to see what else I can do with it but I’m smitten with this. It works and it works well! I was a bit concerned about how much it cost but I find it worth the price. I’m still a tad concerned about it rusting but I oil my hair so I’m hoping that keeps the metal smooth. I considered other brands and styles but the others didn’t seem as solid or would work well for my hair. I almost got the 2 pack but I wasn’t sure enough to commit. I may get that next so I have a pin with me in the car for after snorkel swims so I don’t use a hair tie which sometimes causes breakage when my hair is sandy and wet. I’m glad I tried this. It’s mostly comfortable but like clips or ties, those can be applied too tight too. I was curious as to its holding power with looser or super tight buns. It works beautifully with all. It’s long enough that the pressure against your head is distributed well. Will get again and will pass on to friends.

Sehr schöne Haarnadel. Eine Anleitung wäre noch ganz hilfreich, weil ich mir beim "Anbringen" nicht ganz leicht tue. Aber mit etwas Übung geht es. Sie hält meine sehr dicken und dichten Haare gut an Ort und Stelle, ganz ohne Haargummi.

I love this. I have shoulder length layered curly hair, and it's a breeze to just twist it up and stick the hair pin down through it. Feels very secure. I've always use big claw clips to put my hair up but always found them so uncomfortable against the back of a chair or car headrest. This hairpin is a great alternative. Highly recommend.
