Chemical Guys HOL202, White Paint Maintenance Kit, 6 Items

What can I say about Chemical Guys? I love their products. I've been detailing my own cars my whole life. I've come across some good and not so good products over the years, but this stuff is incredible. It's easy to put on and take off, and the results are amazing. I've never been impressed by a shine on a white car until now. Even several months after the initial application, it keeps the shine and it's hydrophobic properties. While their may be better professional products out there on the market, they are often difficult to use and cost a bunch. This is probably the best product I've come across for the everyday car enthusiast who likes to do it themselves.

I can’t speak for the longevity of the product, as I just applied it a few days ago, but wow is all I can say. Pictures don’t even do it justice. My white paint looks incredible and is shining brighter than the day it left the showroom. I began with a thorough stripping wash to remove all previous coatings, I used a clay bar to remove all bugs, some paint overspray, and contaminates, gave it another wash, and then followed up with the white light and white wax. Both were extremely easy to apply and remove by hand, and the results are more than impressive. Highly recommend!

Black light is an amazing product. The shine leaves people in awe and it's easy on and easy off which is a big plus considering other products on the market seem tough to remove. V07 is also easy to use. I'm curious as to how long the sealant last. I'm used to products like Klasse that last most of the year so we will see how it compares. Looks as if it something they recommend you apply after each wash so that may be how the protection last. Which isn't bad since it's easy to apply. I was also super impressed with the quality of the microfiber towels that kit came with. Top notch value here. Also I topped my black light with Pete's 53 (I'm a carnauba lover) before applying the V07

I used the V07 once after a quick wash at the local brushless place, and with the temperature being about 45F, it seemed to streak and not do a very good job. I've yet to test it in warmer temps, but the stuff smells great! Black Light worked like a charm on my Pitch Black (non-metallic) Charger paint! Seemed to do a great job of hiding some of the swirls and scratches - will not fully hide scratches through the color and into the primer, but can help disguise them a bit. Gave my car a great shine! Applied easy and buffed off very easy. I put some Jet Seal down on top of that, just for the hell of it and that also went on and buffed off pretty easily. It's been about a week and I've washed some bird droppings off the car a couple of times and things seem to be holding up pretty well. Towels seem to be pretty good quality, but I didn't use them yet. No comment on the applicator pad, though, as I hate using those things... my hands get sore trying to grip onto them. I used the microfiber applicator sponge things that CG makes instead, and those worked very, very well. Definitely recommend those to people that don't like dealing with those circular pads.

My kit was missing the 2 red applicators but Amazon promptly exchanged it for me. This kit is incredible. I cannot believe I was able to get this insane mirror finish by myself. I will say it is very time consuming but definitely worth it. Just make sure to follow the timing instructions on each product.

In late 2011, my wife and I bought two new cars, a black Toyota Tacoma and a Metallic Grey VW Jetta Sportwagen. With two new cars in the driveway, I've done alot of research on the newest crop of detailing products on the market to ensure I'm only using the best products on these vehicles. The challenge has been buying products that work equally well on both cars. First and foremost, products arrived on time, and were packaged well. I tried this on my wife's car first. The color is a blueish grey metallic. After prepping, I applied the Blacklight sealant, followed by Zymol Carbon wax and the V7 spray. The results were absolutely outstanding. The color of her car is kind of bland, and really just blends in with everything else. After using this combo, the metallic really came out, and made the car "pop." The sealant gives the car a super slick finish. The Blacklight has a purplish tint to it. When washing the towels, make sure you wash them separately, as they will stain other items in the laundry. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Easy to use: If you want to get the best result, you have to de a whole decontamination and if you have scratches , you have to do a compound and polish. But after this steps. When you use the Light Radiant (with a polisher if you can), wait for 15-20min, and you will see how your white is naturally shiny, glossy!!!! After I waited 1h to apply the white wax …and you get different shade oh white according to the light! It’s not as easy to use as a ceramic coating or a sealant but the result is there ! I spent a lot of time on my car but it’s worth it! Very satisfying product ! Easy to remove: As I said it’s not as simple as a spray ceramic coating or a spray wax , as you need to wait 15-20mîn for each step te be ready to buff off, but it’s so satisfying when you remove with your microfiber the products Value for money: As you use a few quantity of product per car , it’s good value as the result is amazing If you have time to detail your car, just go for it, give it a try and you will be not disappointed !
