Chemical Guys WAC_301 XXX Hardcore Carnauba Paste Wax (8 oz)

First and foremost, chemical guys products are excellent choices for any detailer, and this wax proves it. I use this wax on my Harley Davidson ultra classic and my F150, both are black in color and look wet when I finish them up. I will use a good liquid shampoo and conditioner like chemical guys citrus wash , then I use liquitech finish first prep to start off with, clay bar, then radiant black light hybrid polish by chemical guys, then xxx wax, and top it off with V07 sealant by chemical guys, I have found this combination to be the best I have ever used. The shine and depth of the vehicles when finished are second to none, and the finish is smooth and slick like it's just been painted.I will be buying more of this for my other daily drivers, if it says Chemical guys, you can't and won't go wrong. This wax is easy to use, no white residue, easy on, easy off. I find it to be one of the best waxes at this price range and it seems to last a few months on my vehicles, I also use this on the Harley Davidson when I put it away for the winter, I uncover it in the spring, spray chemical guysV07 hybrid quick detailer and it looks like it did when I put it away. Use this wax sparingly as a little bit goes a long way. Once again chemical guys comes through with this wax as they have on all their products I have bought from them.

I have this wax and it is a great basic wax. It looks good on all colors, but looks close to great on lighter color cars. For the price I think its a great wax and I keep it around for a mid-level wax. 😂 PRO'S : Can be layered with other wax & sealants. Delivers a brilliant wet- look. Easy on and off application. Doesn't powder or leave big white stains on your plastic & rubber parts. CONS : Highly underrated. Doesn't come with applicator pad. Lasts roughly a month & half two months.Thats not really a con in my book though. Just throwing that out there. Tip's : Clean surface thoroughly before waxing don't apply in direct sunlight. Don't apply to hot automobile's. I usually leave the wax on 1 hour then buff to high gloss with a soft microfiber towel turning frequently.

Mine came COMPLETELY separated and not in a paste form. More of this weird, chunky, watery, unusable substance. I stirred it up in an effort to try and use it only to make a watery soup that was worse. Not sure what happened to this product. I never stored it in a heated area. Disappointed in this purchase. I use Chemical Guys products for everything and have always been blown away by their quality and performance. But I will never waste the money on this one again. Very sad.

I layered this on top of Colinite Insulator Wax (which is the easiest wax to use ever), and it beads like crazy. Preferred method is to apply a second coat a day later (garaged) but since I don't have a garage, I applied two coats right after each other. Like any other wax, if you don't prepare the paint properly (correction and clay) you won't get the benefits. I recommend getting the red round foam applicator from chemical guys, my applicator (typical kind) had an edged seam around it and it kept getting chunks of wax stuck to it. The biggest issue I see is that when applying it sets very quickly and you cannot distribute it any longer as soon as it starts to dry. You have to work in 1' by 1' areas, any larger and it doesn't spread out like it should. What I did enjoy, is that once you apply it, you don't have to keep "working" it into the paint. Overall, it's foolproof, but I felt like a little doesn't go a long way. As for the depth of shine and the "glow" afterwards, I've seen a wetter shine from using Meguiars paint sealant, but this will last longer than Meguiars which is interesting. Perhaps using this on its own or over JetSeal would yield better results. I loved a streak-free shine on my 2 stage black SUV.

I like the way it made the car shine but it took two times to do that. It does go on easily but it leaves little bits of wax all over and for some reason it makes static electricity on the bumpers I never have had that with any product ever before but I do like it a lot just wish it wouldn't make little pieces all over the car of wax.

Great product. I used it on my black prius. Here's what I used: washed it with dish soap. Did the clay. Black light. Jet seal. Waited 12 hours. Then this 3X paste wax. The Black Light and Jet Seal go on and off real easy, but this stuff is thick. Definitely needs more elbow grease to wipe it off. From from experience, the stuff that comes off easily doesn't last. I'm more confident this will last longer and do a better job protecting paint. Also the Black Light and Jet Seal run out quickly. This stuff I could probably wax 10 cars or more. A little goes a long way. I would recommend.

This wax was easy to apply and remove and did not leave a mess behind. However, I was not as impressed with the results as I expected to be. The shine it left was okay but nowhere near a mirror finish and certainly nothing impressive. I try out a lot of car care products and I would call this average at best.

Great wax making an icy smooth surface. Worked great on my white car. I was a little disappointed at first when I applied it and removed the wax as it did not fill smooth at all. BUT after 12 hours or so I guess the remaining was bonded with the paint or something because it feels super smooth now. I did my entire car (and applied plenty) and have used up only about, I would say 80% at the most. Definitely smells good and did not stain my plastics as my girlfriend who helped me apply it didn't understand that it was for the paint only haha.

Container is not as the picture, inside all the solids crumble of carnauba and watery wax carrier solvent separated from carnauba don't know it was the storage issues in hot summer or chemical guys batch is fail, not usable at all

Great fast prime shipping, received it the next day. I have always used Meguiars waxes and loved them until I used this. As the chemical guys video on YouTube states, a little goes a long way, it is very true. When I first applied the wax, it went on very easy, but what I didn't know was that I used way to much. It took so much effort to get it off even after waiting 20 minutes as it says to. Overall the result was out standing. Very glossy shine and it repels water very nicely (great beading). Just make sure you only use a little though! You will surprise yourself! -Devyn
