Babymoov Hygro Plus Humidifier for Baby, Ultrasonic Cool Mist Baby Humidifier with Night Light and Automatic Humidity Control

This is the fouth humidifier I've bought since January, the first three had to be returned for one reason or another. I then came across this one and was immediately attracted to it because it comes with a lifetime guarantee. I've been using it for about a week now both in my room (for my husbands sinus problem) and on two occasions in my grandaughters room because she suffers with asthma. Both my husband and grandaughter say their conditions are greatly improved in the morning. This machine is very quiet and has a large capacity water tank with will last for several nights. For my grandaughters asthma, I added 10 drops of peppermint oil with not only helped with her breathing but gave the room a lovely fresh scent. I bought this humidifier and paid the full price for it and i would recommed it. The one problem I have found with it is that when I want to take off the top section, so that I can refill the essential oil holder, it is very very dificult to get off. I am going to contact the manufacturer to find out why this is. Having said that, it has not put me off buying a second one for my grandaughter. APRIL 2017 After 2 months of use I have had to return this humidifier to Amazon because of the solid and sometimes sticky gunky residue that collected around various parts of the machine and were impossible to clean. Amazon have sent me a replacement which I am now using but without the essential oils, which I suspect caused the problem. Anyway, time will tell and I'll update my review in a couple of months. By the way, the instructions clearly state that essential oils CAN be used with this piece of kit.

I bought this in June 2021 when I was pregnant. I contacted Amazon in September 2021 that upon using it as a humidifier, it’s leaking everywhere. Amazon said to contact babymoov directly and that it’s not in their hands. I emailed Babymoov multiple times and nothing. After nearly 3 years being upset with this lump of plastic in my garage whilst having to resort to the shower for steam with my son’s croup, I contacted Amazon again only to find out that it has a 2 year warranty with Amazon and a lifetime guarantee with Babymoov. They didn’t say that then. Anyhow, AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. It leaks and it’s so badly designed and I wouldn’t bother buying stuff like this on Amazon as clearly they deflect towards the manufacturer and then you’re just sent a never ding rabbit hole. Appalling.

Nice humidifier, first one delivered did not work because of the magnetic sensor? I think, had to return it, second one i ordered came with a damaged push valve for the tank, had to bend the pin back to stop water leaking from the tank. Good product, does what it says, looks stylish.

Nice humidifier but it’s quite noisy. It will take some getting used to but it’s annoying if you don’t like the sound of a running tap.

Let me start this by saying I really do like this humidifier. It's quiet, the water tank lasts a couple of nights running it all night, and it looks good, cool shape and colour. The nightlight feature of it is useful. For the price it should be flawless though, and the issues I've had with it are that in both the first one I bought, and the replacement I was sent, the LED lights for the nightlight feature stopped working properly within a few days. There is a setting which flips through all the light colours (like a school disco haha) but both times that feature stopped working. Also one of the LEDS themselves stopped lighting up. The other thing is, the humidifier has a little cup in its spout where you can put essential oils to vaporise. With rosemary oil this makes for a nice fresh steam. However, after a week of use, I noticed the plastic tube in the neck (where the steam comes up the humidifier body) and the oil cup had actually reacted (guessing with the oil) and had blistered all over, making what was previously a smooth shiny clean surface look and feel like it had corroded. The oil cup had actually fused into the neck, and had to be pried loose to release it. Apart from being unsightly, the scarred plastic surface where the steam comes up would be harder to keep clean, and could harbour moulds and bacteria which could be sprayed around the room in the steam. Not at all impressed for a product that is designed to take essential oils! So on the replacement unit I was sent, I do not use essential oils at all in order to keep the humidifier in good undamaged condition- this is a pity because I specifically selected a humifier that would take essential oils. It's a good product as long as you do not use the oil feature.

My little one has suffered with nasal congestion and mucous/phlegm since birth and I was awake with him several times a night because of the irritation it caused him. This humidifier has been a godsend and has really helped reduce his irritation therefore saving my sanity! It has also helped to improve the sleep of my husband and I, so has a happy side effect. The night light is fab, if a teeny tiny bit too bright (it can sometimes distract my baby during night feeds etc.) and the variety of colours, while it may seem much of a muchness, is actually really useful as each colour offers a different feel and glow so should cater for everyone. It has a large enough water capacity to last all through the night, even on a high setting, and you can add essential oils if that floats your boat although I've found the scent from these doesn't last very long. The mist/steam is pretty cold and can cause the room to feel cold upon entering (and we have a pretty large bedroom), so I wouldn't recommend direct flow over your baby, but I'm sure this will be a welcome feature during the warm summer months. It's by no means a silent humidifier, but it is very quiet and doesn't interfere with sleep. It's really simple to clean, although if you replace the water regularly, you shouldn't need to clean it too often. One of the main reasons I opted for this one over others is because Babymoov offer a lifetime guarantee, but this isn't automatic with purchase so be sure to register the product on their website just in case.

I think this humidifier is brilliant! I tried a Vick one before and wasn’t good. My son has enlarged adenoids and uses a humidifier all night. This one is great because: - you can turn the direction of the air easily without moving the whole appliance. - you can remove the plug when you need to empty the appliance. - no filter needed. -great level of vapour. - I’ve had no problems putting olvas oil the container, I just cleaned the parts the next day with water and some tissue paper. To take the oil out and I will clean it properly once a week. The only thing that I would like is to have a level less of steam and I also found the instructions quite poor so I had to watch the videos on you tube

I am extremely disappointed with this product. It is targeted at parents and is at the top end of pricing for a product of its kind. It is unacceptable that this product is even produced. It is so poorly designed and made from cheap materials. I bought it in November 2018, ensuring I had it in stock for the winter months as I have a young baby. I have used it only 5 times in the last 2 months and all of the plastic has cracked and disintegrated around all the seals and wherever the plastic materials come into contact with water. The water vapour now pours out of the main chamber and onto the electrical base of the humidifier, meaning that it is a huge electrical fire risk with this fault. Even the main water chamber has cracked. All in all it is a terrible product and I will never invest in this brand again. Please don’t waste your money on this product. I am beyond disappointed and expect a full refund.

Reçu depuis 2jours en 24h ! J’ai fais cet achat car ma fille de 5mois avait une toux sèche toutes les nuits depuis quelques temps sans être malade, ce qui nous empêchait de dormir et elle aussi. Design vraiment agréable et mise en route très simple ! La vapeur qui sort est fraîche et ne mouille pas donc pas de risque d’eau sur les meubles ou les papiers peints (j’ai de la toile de rénovation!) A peine audible (pas de bruit de « glouglou » contrairement à d’autre appareil). Le mode AUTO est super, une fois réglé on ne s’en occupe plus ! Consomme pas énormément d’eau Portant je l’ai réglé à 50% pour une pièce de 10m2 chauffée à 19,5degres (recommandation pédiatre) La veilleuse est un plus. Et le fait qu’il soit garantie à vie m’a rassuré dans mon choix etle prix IMBATTABLE pour cette qualité! Je recommande vivement

Ho acquistato questo prodotto per umidificare una cameretta. Il prodotto è esteticamente molto bello e funziona molto bene. Davvero silenzioso (come un diffusore di essenze), mi posso dimenticare di lui e gestisce da solo l’umidità richiesta (con il serbatoio da due litri dura moltissimo). Con le luci integrate soft sostituisce perfettamente una lucina notturna per bimbi. Il vapore è freddo quindi lo sconsiglio per stanze difficili da riscaldare perché accentua ulteriormente la senzazione di freddo. La pulizia del serbatoio con candeggina (come da istruzioni) deve essere fatta a mio avviso quotidianamente, altrimenti il serbatoio prende subito odori strani difficili poi da togliere. Ottimi risultati anche per gli asmatici.
