Ride Tour Bike Tire - Wire Bead, ExtraPuncture, E25 E-Bike

Excellent tires by all means. Smooth ride, comfortable, fast and quiet on the road. Easy to mount. No hassle whatsoever. I mounted them on my XL Trek bike. They look great. Buy those tires as you will never regret. Highly recommended.

My Specialized Turbo Vado SL originally came with 700c x 38 tires that I replaced with 40 mm gravel/pavement tires (Kenda Kwick Drumlin) which were great on dirt roads but didn't track well on pavement. So when it came time for replacement and given that I travel mostly on pavement, I purchased the e-bike rated Continental Ride Tours, which BTW are just 40mm wide at 65 PSI instead of the indicated 42. Pavement tracking (stability) and rolling resistance (surprisingly very noticeable on my e-bike) were much improved. The tires were also more comfortable when encountering tree roots beneath pavement, which were very jarring with the Kendas. Of note, the Continentals weren't nearly as capable as the Kendas on dirt/gravel. With the Continental's puncture resistance, tire liners, puncture resistant tubes, and Stan's, these tires should be bullet proof. First ride was 23 miles and couldn't help smiling all the way. I'd definitely recommend these tires.

Reliable high quality tires. This is the best brand for reliable and reasonably priced bicycle tires. These last a long time and run quiet.

Tire: 20 inch Bike: Schwinn Loop Miles so far on tire: 150 Location: Tucson, Arizona These tires are awesome. Right off the bat, they feel a lot better than the cheap stock tires. PSI was the same at 60, but these tires grip and roll better. The tire really shines for commuting, or on country roads. The tire has an anti-puncture tire liner built into the tire, and boy does it work. I’m new to the southwest, and didn’t realize how many thorns there are. I’ve been riding daily for three weeks, and have pulled 7-10 thorns per tire out, with a couple ones still stuck in there. That alone has saved me time from not changing a flat, and most likely the cost of two tubes (generally they say you can patch a tube 3-5 times before you should replace it). I don’t know how many miles I can get on this tire, so I can’t speak on longevity. It’s not my only bike, so I might not ever get to the couple thousand miles on it before it needs replacing. I also keep my bikes indoors, which also helps parts last longer. However, for commuting, highway, or country roads this tire is great. They’ve already shown they’re up to the task of handling thorns, glass, and tiny rocks. There might be better tires out there, but I’ll be putting continental tires on all my bikes for the foreseeable future. They offer a nice mix between quality and price. They also offer a much better ride for anyone looking to upgrade from their stock tires and is tired of changing flats. Last point, your other options to help guard against flats is tire liners and slime. They both work, but I think these tires offer less headaches. Slime can get messy, clog pumps, don’t work on big holes, and gunk up stems. I think it’s best saved for mountain bikes. Tire liners are reusable, but some say they can damage or cause holes in a tube. The built in tire liner of these tires doesn’t have those problems. For those reasons these are my go to tire recommendation for new riders looking to upgrade or buy new bicycle tires. The savings you get by not changing and patching inner tubes will quickly make this a better deal than buying a cheaper tire. 10/10

On first ride this is a good tire. It hits the sweetspot of low rolling resistance, and good cornering traction. Like all clinchers, tough to put on. Max air pressure of 58 PSI (4 bar) is lower than my other tire, but held my weight fine. If it had a reflective stripe, it would have reserved 5 stars.

Perfect replacement for the OEM tires.

I bought two of the size 20x1.75 (47-406) for my Dahon Mariner folding bike. I have the older style, steel frame Mariner, not the newer aluminum frame type. The tires fit perfectly on the wheel, and in the fenders, although the original tires were 1.5". These tires have just the right amount of tread for my type of riding, which is mostly on paved surfaces, but I like to explore dirt and gravel trails. And the treads are nice and deep which should help if I get caught in the rain. Mountain tires would have been too much, and most would not fit in my bike's fenders anyway. People have said they had problems getting the wire beads on their wheels, but mine went right on. I like that these are not the folding type of tire, which always seem so thin and flimsy. These Continental Ride Tour's are very substantial and confidence inspiring. And they are super nice looking! Dahons are mistaken for clown bikes by those who don't know what they are, but at least I have a couple of dignified looking tires now. I'm so glad I chose these. They really aren't that much more expensive than the cheap folding tires out there, and for something this important, that I will use for a couple of years or more, it is more than worth it.

I wanted to see how long these would last before writing a review. I bought these in September 2019. I was getting flats on occasion, and not liking it. It totally screws up your workout and definitely one of the most frustrating experiences in life. After I had to walk my bike several miles to a Jiffy Lube to get air then sprint home 5 miles as the air let out again.... I had it. Looks for puncture proof tires. I HAVE NOT HAD A FLAT SINCE I GOT THESE. I ride fairly consistently 20 to 40 miles per week at 16-20 MPH on mostly flat grad; for a few years about 5000 miles were on a 1-3/4 circular track I rode that had a quick drop and then a long uphill loop back to the top, so mostly slight incline uphill. I still think these have another 5 years of tread at this pace. That is remarkable. These are TOUGH tires. The only concern I do have is the side walls are showing some cracking/splintering, but after 5 years who cares ? They have been WELL WORTH the 50 bucks I spent for a pair 5 years ago. :)

super produit

bon pneu assez durable
