Very good flavor. This mix cooks on stove top or in a thermos for easy meal prep. You can add sautéed onions and garlic, extra beans and some cooked sausage to give it extra protein and bulk. The price is fair $1.87 these were .75 a couple years ago but for now that’s not a bad price. If you need a shelf stable option for sausage fry Old Wisconsin brand Beef Sausage for $5.79 it doesn’t need refrigerated unless it’s opened and unused. Otherwise it’s safe to keep until needed. You can prep this in your thermos, add the cut up sausage seal it and have a ready meal in a few hours. For versatility, ease of use, texture, taste, rice quality I recommend it!

People today need to enjoy new ways of fixing foods, that doesn't take hours, mess the entire kitchen up, yet the reward is a great dinner. I have an oval shaped crock pot that I love cooking in. I took two boxes of this, opened them up, and after using olive oil two table spoons, to oil the bottom and the walls of the Crock-Pot, I added the cajan rice, then 5 cups of water, turned it on and went about my day. After about 31/2 hours the aroma was floating through my apartment. Adding some steamed veggies, turkey bacon, I enjoyed a great meal! What's more, this lasted me three more days, and warming it up in the microwave helped as well. I'm not suggesting you copy my way of doing this, but use your own ideas. I've offered you a means to enjoy this, but using your own creativity, makes it your own. Bonaparte. 🤔😱😀

So good especially in a pack of 12. Tastes yummy and so easy to cook. Add some shrimp, chorizo even veggies to raise it to the next level.

Excellent choice for a New Orleans meal night . Fast and easy one pot meal. Has the long grain rice with traditional seasonings of New Orleans Jambalaya. Just add your choice of meat. If you're vegetarian add fresh vegetables to it. Especially great is no MSG Added ‼️I add mango sausage and shrimp.You can add anything you want to it.I have used this brand before and in my experience it's delicious. So, I highly recommend!!

Discovered this rice at a supermarket in New Orleans this year and I already purchased it a couple times since. Is one of our favourite rice dish. Recommend it.

We couldn't find Zatarains Jambalaya mix for years. We were so excited to find it at Amazon. Just add sausage and shrimp and wow, amazing meal.

Made it with chicken, chorizo, smoked sausage, onion, red pepper and spring onion. Hands down everyone loved it and nothing left to throw away. Will be making it again. Very tasty and easy to make
