I switched for regular sponges to biodegradable kitchen sponges a while ago. I used to buy another brand but I noticed that they started to stink. The smell was unpleasant so I started a research for another's. These sponges are totally odorless the only con is that they don't last longer like the other ones I had before but I'm okay with it. I prefer odorless sponges much better.

In my original review, I complained about the poor adhesive quality of the glue keeping the sponge and coconut husk fiber together. I wrote: The sponge is absorbent and the coconut husk fiber cleaNed very well. I think the price is reasonable and the fact it can go right into the composter is wonderful. BUT, in my pack of 12, most of the sponges separated from the coconut husk backing within 2-3 uses. I continued to used them separately until it was time to replace (about a month). But a few of the sponges adhered to their coconut husk backing for the whole month and that was excellent. Seems like there is inconsistency in their product. I hope the company is able to resolve this because it’s a great alternative to regular sponges. The seller refunded my purchase and encouraged me to purchase another box, which I did. So far, every sponge has stayed glued to the coconut husk. I am very happy with this product now and would recommend it (plus I give 5 stars for excellent customer service)

Great quality with reasonable price. The scorer does good job even for the burnt pots (just soak them over night), and it's also gentle enough not to scratch the enamels of inside the cast iron pots. I replace one every month. The old ones go to the compost after being used for cleaning jobs.

I don't normally rewiew products that I consider consumable, how ever I feel I need to share my experience about these washing up sponges. Absolutely brilliant I'm still using the first sponge out of the box!!!! I halved it to start with, as I thought it was a bit too big. I'm still using the first one after two months. It has not fallen apart like the ones bought from the supermarket. It quite frankly brilliant. I bought a box of twelve and at this rate it will be a couple of years before I get through them. You can wash them by sticking them in the microwave. I'll be buying them again without doubt.

These are substantial well made cleaning pads. They are a good practical size. The abrasive side works well in removing stubborn deposits. A good biodegradable product.

These are very good. My only complaint is that the scrubber is a bit too stiff to be practical, but it works. (I cannot imagine how it could “hurt one’s hands” as some reviewers have complained.) They last as long as any other cellulose sponge (which is the only kind I ever saw in America) & which in my mind, cellular sponges have always been vastly superior to British washing up sponges which are too “light” & hold way too much soap & water anyway. I’ll buy them again.
