When I bought my Howard Leights I bought these too. The pads the Howard Leights come with are fine, but these are better. They are more comfortable, give a better seal and form a better seal around the stem of your glasses - assuming you don't use the indent on top of the pads for your glasses stems. They fit so perfectly in my muffs that I didn't even bother using the sticky back. I just left that covered up. They are solidly attached. Just as solid as the original pads. No need for the sticky surface. If you're going to spend the money on Howard Leights then you might as will spring for these as well. You'll like them. Update: Since I didn't use the sticky back one of the pads did come loose so I went ahead and peeled the backing off and stuck them on. Not a negative. Just using them as designed. I'm tempted to purchase a second set as spares. Oh, and my son who has a similar pair of Howard Leight ear muffs was complaining about his pads not sealing around his safety glasses. I recommended these to him since they do seal better and have that slight indent on top so your glasses rest on top of the pads rather than underneath them - if you choose to wear your glasses that way. Handy if you're wearing prescription specs along with your safety glasses.

Gel ear pads are amazing. More comfortable and better sound isolation. Even if the original foam pads are in great shape, rip them off and install these.

Bought these to replace my OEM Howard Leight Sport pads. The originals were fine but I've read so many positive reviews for these replacements that I wanted to try them myself---ear pro is SO important when shooting that anything to make my products more comfortable and easier to wear is a big plus in my book. 30 second install with my hands, no tools needed. I tried just one side first to compare it with the other old one and this is definitely softer, a bit thicker, seems to conform a bit better, and also has the eyeglass notch which will be a real benefit to me. Popped the 2nd one in and I'm good to go. Excellent replacements for worn pads or an inexpensive upgrade for the HL's. Isn't that what the sport of shooting is all about......upgrading everything all the time?!? ;-D

Replaces the hard vinyl seals on my 3M work tunes. I was hoping these would be much more forgiving where the stem of sunglasses or eyeglasses passes under the cup, and they are. They confirm much better and put less pressure on and behind the ear after a long time wearing. Not perfect in this regard as there is still some discomfort but this is the likely case with any over the ear hearing protection and eyewear.

I purchased these pads to replace the out of the box pads on my Howard Leight Pro muffs. A co-worker suggested switching to these as they seem to mold around the arms on eyewear much better than the standard pad. I work as a range safety officer, so I wear hearing protection throughout my shift. I have only had these for a month, but so far, I find them comfortable and they do seem to mold around the arms on my glasses and create no loss of noise suppression. The change out was super easy; just pop the old pads off and pop the new ones on. They come with a two sided tape in case you want to secure them to the pad holder, but I did not do this and don't notice any slipping. Very happy that I purchased these and the price seems good for what I am experiencing.

These are great! They look good, they fit well, they do a better job than the original sponge rubber ear pads blocking sound. If I’d known how much better these are than the originals, I’d have replaced the ear pads when the WorkTunes were new. As it was the thin plastic on the originals cracked and flaked off leaving the yellow foam exposed. Now they look new, actually better than new. I’d thought they might be difficult to replace. The originals are held on with an adhesive. Just peel those off, clean any residual adhesive from the mounting ring, and stick on the new ones. Nothing to it.

I have used Tough Sounds headphones for many years. I believe no longer manufactured. The right ear cushion would compress while wearing and cut off the sound. The cushion (soft light foam internals) would just collapse. Replaced cushions with the "For 3M" version and is working better than new. More comfortable, better over the ear sealing. Love the quality.

I love my 3m work tunes, they are one of the best things I own, but the original ear pads were cracked and brittle for years and years of use. I was highly considering buying a new pair but it just didn’t sit right with me since they still work just fine. Then, these replacement pads came up in my search! I was so excited to give my work tunes a new life. It was surprisingly easy to rip off the old ear pads, and the sticky residue that remained on the headphones was easy to rub off with my fingers. I cleaned the surface with rubbing alcohol for good measure. The new pads are peel and stick. I found it slightly difficult to line them up perfectly before they stuck down with the super sticky two sided tape. I’m slightly concerned with the thickness of the black plastic that covers the memory foam, it’s much thinner than the original plastic, which is what failed. They are much squishier than the original pads and feel cool (in a comfortable way) on my ears. Time will tell if the black plastic holds up. Right now, I’m super stoked that I was able to save my worktunes.

These replacement pads are a bit pricey, but are totally worth the investment. It made working long jobs with my Honeywell Sync much more comfortable and it seems to help reducing the noise even more than the original pads.

They're absolutely perfect. I wear glasses and while the old cups weren't exactly painful they certainly weren't comfortable. These are comfortable, cool, soft, they gel perfectly around any contours such as your glasses, and of particular note is how nice and cool they are. I overheat really easily and these cups feel just so very cool and nice. The cups themselves have small strips of adhesive on them, but I didn't bother - they click in perfectly. I've seen in a couple reviews that over time they may need to be stuck in there after a few months of use, but since the adhesive isn't going anywhere I can always handle it later. Overall these are awesome and I'm completely, 100% satisfied with them. They're exactly what I needed to take my already-great earmuffs and turn them into the perfect hearing protection.
