I fell in love with Saint Jane for their smoothing face moisturizer with 30 SPF. I then bought their oils and face wash and finally this too. I love their whole face care line. I use this every time I wash my face. I’m very pleased with the outcome and I have spent probably thousands on skin care products that don’t work or changed formulas- ugh. These face products are amazing and they all come highly recommended.

This works so well on ky skin. My skin is smoother, and looks and feels healthy . It is worth the money.

Everything about the pakaging and bottle of this serum screams luxury. The box itself has gold foil detail and the bottle is a lovely, rectangular glass with inner curves and a metal plate with the product name. The bubbles sparkle from within and catch light beautifully. Everything about it is beautiful and it looks great on the countertop. It also has a very pleasant sweet scent that you only notice as you're spreading it on, which is mark of a luxury as well. This doesn't present itself as a brightening serum, but as a serum that will be calming, plumping, and provide deep hydration. The key ingredients highlighted are star flower (borago seed) and niacinamide - two ingredients that are known to be very beneficial to skin. The serum itself is thick, but doesn't leave you sticky. The pump is a nice touch - not only does it protect the bubbles within, but also allows you to be more precise with how much you use. Personally I didn't notice much in the way of plumping or exceptional hydration. It is moisturizing and leaves my skin soft and with a nice glow to it, though. What it really does well is in the way of redness reduction. I was impressed in that regard. The box says this is made in the USA, but does not have a manufacture or expiry date. It also didn't have a safety seal. I'm not super concerned about that, but did expect it to at least have a safety sticker on the box. Look, as others have already pointed out, you can definitely get another niacinamide serum for much less. That's not what this product is about and that's not who this serum is for. This is about presentation, packaging, and the mix of mostly plant-derived ingredients that are all beneficial to your skin. Are the bubbles a gimmick? Yes, of course they are. But it also differentiates this product from all the others in its class and makes for an exceptional presentation. If this is in your price range and you are looking for something that maintains your skin health and provides something a little extra in the way of presentation, I feel this product very much delivers.

I do love hyaluronic acid - it soothes, calms, and hydrates my skin. I'm new to Niacinamide (a B3 ingredient that helps to repair and protect). Niacinamide can cause redness or flushing if you use too much so just be aware of that. As for the hyaluronic acid, a little goes a long way but it's well tolerated for sensitive skin. The bursting beads is a gimmick and I don't care one way or another about it - not sure what it does any differently from my skincare that doesn't have bursting beads. But it does smooth on my skin beautifully and the more I use it the more I like it. The bottle is understated but pretty. Despite having hyaluronic acid, it's not very emollient. When I applied it to my skin, it left my skin a tad dry instead of feeling hydrated. However, when I used it along with my morning vitamin C, it did very well and my skin felt amazing with these ingredients together in my skincare routine. No ingredients listed and that's a pet peeve of mine. Brands need to be better about letting consumers know what is in their products BEFORE we purchase them, not after we have already received them and have to look on the box.

MY ⭐️RATINGS: 5⭐️- EXCEEDS MY EXPECTATIONS! TOP QUALITY & MUST HAVE. Serums with Niacinamide have become an everyday necessity in my Facial regimen. This serum keeps my face sebum balanced, which has multiple benefits. I no longer have oily or dry spots, and my pores are clear. With balanced sebum, my skin has changed dramatically; another plus is NO BREAKOUTS. If I want these results to stay, I must be consistent and patient. Missing applications slow the benefits of the product on my skin. I always dry my face & hands thoroughly before applying any serums. Then, I ensure the serum absorbs into my skin before applying moisturizer. If I don’t, I get a sticky, icky feel. HOW I USE: AM & PM 1 - Cleanse my face, 2 - I apply 2 pumps of this serum on my face. 3 - LAST, I finish with my usual moisturizer. SAINT JANE - Star Flower Niacinamide Serum works well with the other skincare products that are part of my facial regimen. EXPIRATION DATE: UPON OPENING! I always check for an expiration date before using, ESPECIALLY with health & beauty products. This product does not have one, which means the expiration is between 12-18 months UPON OPENING. This Serum is exactly as advertised, and works well. It is a bit pricey, which is a huge factor when I choose products, but for a professional brand product that gives results, I realize I will have to pay a higher price.

This bottle looks so beautiful on the vanity. It’s easily the prettiest bottle of my current face routine. I’m normally a k-beauty buyer but I decided to give this a shot and honestly, it hold up against the mid- to high level k beauty products I’m used to. My skin looks smooth and even and bright. One pump is enough for my face but I usually add another half for my neck and chest. This has a very slight acidic scent. Maybe like a soft lemon-ish type smell. The scent very subtle and it doesn’t linger at all. I normally have issues with fragrances face products but I haven’t had any with this. Not sure I’d drop $50 on it. At that price point, I think there are more targeted options out there. But for my normal/combination skin, it’s been good.
