Rider SRTP300 Wireless tire Pressure Monitoring System for Motorcycles with 1.5” Monitor. Check Your tire Pressure While Riding

Been on the bike 2 months now and is working flawlessly... battery does not seem to have drained at all. Comes on with any movement and times out on its own. VERY Easy to set up and install. Both sensors are within 1 psi, which is better than I would have expected. As your driving (here in hot FL sun) you can see the tire temp and pressure change "live". I bought this after getting my first puncture while far from homebase so that I have some indication that a problem is coming and it fits the bill perfectly.

I had a similar product 10 years ago. This is a much more refined product. Instructions for installation were clear. The only step I felt they skipped was before tightening the lock nut, check pressure level, and adjust pressure up or down based on systems pressure reading, before locking down the sensor. Once the tire is at the desired pressure, then lock the sensor down. Otherwise product (just installed) installed and works even better than expected. Some instructions on how to utilize the various mounting hardware would have been great, but I used the double stick tape (provided) and the surface mount adaptor to mount the unit at the top of my fairing. Unit is very easy to see the display, and all it's are clear to read. A nice feature is being able to turn off the display, rather than waiting for it to go into sleep mode (saves battery life). I may update in the future on the battery life.

Installing the system couldn't be easier. Put the locking nut then the cap on each tire, making sure you put the correct cap on the front and rear tires, then tighten the locking nut with the supplied wrench. Attach the bracket to your ride and then the monitor to the bracket. All that's left is to set your desired range for pressure and temperature (the directions are easy to follow). The installation is complete. The monitor will let you know when your tires are out of range with both a loud beeping and the screen blinking red. I would guess I am charging the monitor less than once a month. It charges quickly with a micro USB cord. I received the system in the last week of April and 5 months later the batteries in the caps are still going strong. The company has excellent customer service. I was leaking air out of my front tire cap. I contacted customer service and received a prompt response, asking me to check if the gasket was in the cap. I guess the gasket had fallen out when I aired up my tires. I emailed back and a replacement gasket plus 3 extras were in my mailbox a few days later. A tire pressure monitoring system benefits you in multiple ways. It helps you keep your tire pressure precise, which improves the performance of your ride, helps your tires last longer, and helps prevent pinch flats. When you are on the road, it gives you a heads up if you have a tire problem. I would not ride my electric scooter without a tire pressure monitoring system and this system had shown to be accurate and reliable. The system monitors my tires and allows me to stay focused on monitoring traffic and riding safe. I can recommend this system without hesitation.

Works well but not perfect. More of 4.5 stars. It has a small footprint and easy to read display. The mounting system is a bit wonky. I was forced to use a plastic molded piece that came with it and secure it with the hose clamp. It is secure but could be better. There is a better clamp provided but it's size doesn't work well for my application. The system reads psig as it should. But like all electronic pressure gauges it is calibrated for gauge pressure at sea level. I frequently ride above 8000 ft and up to 12,000 so it always reads a bit lower. For me that is ok as what I am looking for is change not absolute. Just keep in mind at high altitude it will not read the same as a mechanical gauge. Waiting to see on battery life for the readout but since it is chargeable with a USB cord I can charge on the fly. It donest charge with USBC to USBC. It need USB A to USBC for some reason. This is in an insert paper not instructions. Lastly the sensors engage the valve before the seal is made so some air escapes when taking them on and off. If you use on smaller tires this could be an issue so move quickly.

Battery was no good after 2 weeks. Charged once, then work flawless for two weeks. Then..... internal battery gave up the ghost. Does not accept a charge and is dead. Hard to find 3.7v 903035 battery so don't bother trying to replace it.

Great upgrade, had to get steel valve stems, now at a glance know aire pressure abd temperature of each tire, will alert me if there is an issue. Awesome quality and safety

Less than one weeks' worth of use so far, but so far, it's 5 stars. I use the same air compressor gauge to set the air pressure on all of my vehicles, 4 of those vehicles have factory TPMS installed, and all of those TPMS systems read within one pound of each other. This Sykir Rider SRTP-300 TPMS is way less expensive than any of my other TPM Systems, is way easier to install, is way easier to (when needed) replace the batteries, is a no-brainer to install and operate, and reads the exact same pressure as the gauge on my air compressor. Only time will tell how long it will last, but for now, I am recommending it to family and friends. Update, I just bought my 3rd set of these TPMS for my personal use, and I have convinced 2 friends to buy them, all 5 sets are working as advertised. My only complaint about this type of TPMS, is that I have to use the supplied tool to remove the sending unit from the valve stem in order to adjust my air pressure, all 3 of the bikes I have them installed on are duel sport adventure bikes, and I like to lower the pressure in my tires whenever I go off-roading, then air the tires back up with a small portable tire inflator that I carry with me when I'm ready to get back on the blacktop for the ride home.

I've had this installed for about a month. Instructions were about what we've come to expect (mediocre) but the installation is mostly obvious. Changing the settings, less so. I did a little research before I bought this kit, and the sense I got was that most of the options on the market were pretty much equivalent. I went with this one because I liked that it also shows tire temperatures (why not?) When I tried to install the front sensor the first time, it disassembled itself instead; the base ring came off and the sensor would not seal, instead draining my tire. I had to try a couple more times (and refill my tire) to get it seated properly. It's been fine since, but I feel like it's going to fail on me one of these days when I'm reinstalling it. The only reason I trust it (enough) to stay assembled on the road and not kill me, is that they give you a nut to cinch up from underneath. This is advertised as an anti-theft feature (I guess?) but I wonder if the real purpose is to paper over this design defect–yikes. Just make sure you carry the provided wrench so you can still fill your tires on the road. The sensors came with batteries installed and an extra set. Kudos there. I feel like changing them is going to be a bit of a pain, but we’ll see. The sensors are motion-activated. When you first power the monitoring unit on, but haven't ridden off yet, you are actually seeing pressures/temps from whenever you parked. What if that was months ago, or you got a flat overnight? This is a bad design–the display should show null values until the sensors actually start reading. But it doesn’t, and neither does the book mention this. So make sure to glance at the display very soon after you start rolling, especially if you haven’t ridden in a while. I have compared the indicated pressure against a dial gauge and the digital gauge on my pump. All three read within 2 pounds of each other, so accuracy seems good enough (at least on my unit). The Allen-head bolt that secures the monitor unit to the handlebar mount must be SAE, since none of my metric keys fit. I don't even own a set of SAE hex keys and I'm an American, FFS. They provide one at least, but why not use an 'M' bolt like everything else these days? Weird. The sensors have very little engagement on the valve-stem threads; the internal 'pocket' between the seal and the top of the valve stem is only a millimeter or so. This felt a little sketch to me but it holds air. The screen washes out in direct sunlight but is OK most of the time; could be brighter. The "audible alert" is, well, not so much. Unless you have a quiet bike and happen to be at a stoplight, you aren't likely to hear it. The screen flashes an alternating-color pattern, but I don't tend to stare down at my handlebars–do you? They should either make the audible alerts about twice as loud, add a super bright strobing LED, or ideally both. As it stands, I have very little confidence that this would actually get my attention in the event of a puncture. I would probably notice the bike handling oddly and *then* glance down to confirm...or if I'm less lucky, just crash. So the lack of effective alerts renders this much less useful in the most valuable use-case. Bit of a miss there, don't you think? Anoter miss: the monitoring unit has to be powered on and off manually. Why not make this motion-activated, too? The side buttons are tiny, stiff, and don't give much feedback, and you have to hold one of them for what feels like a long time to power on/off...even in light summer gloves it's kind of finicky. I can easily imagine riding off in winter gloves, looking down and realizing you forgot to turn it on. Are you going to pull over and take off a glove to do it? Or just not bother? It's still pretty convenient and a safety benefit; you can effectively check your tires every day (as we should but few of us do) and with zero effort. If they're low, that fact is staring you in the face and you'll probably fix it. Still a worthy addition, but again, the lack of effective alerts in the potentially life-saving case is such a big miss...

I like the simplicity of the system. I did have a small issue with the pairing. The front one paired fine but the rear didn't. I took it out for a ride and eventually it did pair. Overall I think it's a good buy and a good concept. Yup get all that tech into something weighing a few grams is very clever. Im not sure about the little flat locking nut. I would like something that would give me more positive feedback that I've tightened it enough without stripping the threads. Or maybe I'm overthinking it and the short spanner limits the torque you can apply.

The product was shipped almost immediately and arrived at the nominated date. If someone is looking to buy a set of these tyre pressure monitors, first go to the site to work out if you need the internal or external version. I made the mistake and have purchased the wrong type. The external version does not mate with right angle valve stems.
