Im looking for a decent edc knife What makes this product better than others?

The price is appealing its as good as the Sog knives and has a great spring assisted opening button. It also can double as a kubaton. The base of the handle has a nice edge and is solid steel so you could use this edge to crack a skull or to really get in on pressure points. The blade itself is decent steel and I was able to sharpen it to were I could shave the hair off on my arm.

How long is the blade?

4inches, FYI this knife sucks, you get what you pay for. The weight of the knife gives its quality feel but its poorly put together

Is it spring assisted?

No longer spring assisted. Very disappointed with the new version.

What steel is this knife made of?

Its the 440 type steel its hard enough to take a good edge and it took a sharp edge quick. I use a top end electric sharpener. Junk steel disintegrates quick this isn't bad steel at all. I can shave my arm hair with my blade. It also keeps an edge well. I use it to cut boxes open and ti scrape the hardened dust off the bottom of my sanding pads that fit on my orbital sander. I only have resharpened once.
