Your chickens will love these and love you even more and keep giving you eggs!
I have bought other black soldier fly larvae in the past. My girls like them but never went really crazy for other brands. However when I started giving these to the girls as their snack they went totally bonkers for them. They are much larger than many other brands, there was no nasty smell when I opened the bag (which was a big plus for me), they are quality black soldier fly larvae even the color looks different than other brands. My girls seem to love the taste and like I said they go bonkers for them. They literally scream when they see me coming with the container of them at night. The price is very reasonable compared to many other brands for a 10 lb bag. I recommend trying these for your chickens I bet you they will love them.

Great for Chickens!!
Our chickens love these. They can be way out in the yard (I live on 5 acers) and the second they hear the bag they come running. Or if we pull up in the driveway they will come running to try and get us to give them worms.

5/5 Stars — My Chickens Are Officially Spoiled
I've tried a lot of treats for my flock over the years, and I'll be honest — most of them get a lukewarm reception at best. Not these. The moment I tossed out the Hatortempt Black Soldier Fly Larvae, my girls went absolutely crazy for them. We're talking full-on sprinting across the yard. I've never seen them this excited about anything. What really won me over, though, wasn't just the reaction — it was what's actually in these things. The larvae are raised on real vegetables, not filler junk, and you can tell the difference matters. Knowing that what I'm feeding my hens as a treat is actually nutritious makes this a no-brainer. The calcium content alone is remarkable — 114 times more than standard mealworms — which is a huge deal for laying hens. Strong eggshells, healthy bones, happy birds. If you've got laying hens, quails, or ducks and you're still buying regular mealworms, do yourself a favor and make the switch. Your flock will thank you, and so will your egg basket. Highly recommend.
