They didn’t have my size, so ordered larger size and able to fit to my size. If you are on the end of the sizing, just go size up and you can’t go wrong. Fit and finish are as expected.

The black dress belt goes great with business/formal wear, it’s durable, and it’s a great fit around the waist.

This belt is thicker than my previous and feels like it will last longer.

My belt is peeling, even though this states that won’t happen.

Let me first say that I absolutely love ratcheting belts and they are now the only type I use after getting my first one back in 2015. My most recent one (the second one that I got back in 2019) was in need of replacement, so I figured I would get this one to replace it. As with the previous ones I had, this belt was very easy to cut to size - the inside of the belt has a sizing guide, and you can just cut the belt at the designated section to reduce it to your needed waist size. I was able to do so without problems and then affix the buckle on the cut end. One minor complaint I have is that when putting the cut leather end into the buckle, it doesn't seem to want to go in evenly, almost as if it is slightly wide. I was able to force it in so that both edges were even, and then closed the teeth to clamp the buckle onto the belt. It has fit well and ratchets smoothly, and also retains the tightness securely. Using the lever to release the pawl also works easily and smoothly. The all-black belt I chose is quite nice as a dress belt, though I think I should have chosen the brown belt for everyday wear, which is what I mostly intend to use this for with only intermittent dress wear. Overall, though, so far I believe this is a very nice and convenient belt! I'll update my review later if any notable quality concerns arise.

This is an overall decent belt. I'm a fan of the ratcheting style as it feels easy to adjust on the fly. I'm not a big fan of the finish on the actual belt (the main 'leather' part). It feels a bit cheap and I'm afraid of that cheapness being reflected visually- but of course I don't have evidence of strangers telling me it looks bad. It's a belt- ya know? For what it is supposed to do, it does the job. And to give the seller credit, they offer many variations of styles, some of which I think look a lot better than the style I received in retrospect. For reference I went with the 'all black' style. We'll see how long it lasts. My last ratcheting belt (not from this seller) unfortunately took too much strain around the buckle grip area and caused the belt to tear. This belt seems to be a tiny bit thicker, so I'm hopeful that it will last quite a bit longer and have less of a risk of tearing.
