Cheap and works well
Fit my Makita 18v using the stock makita clip hardware. Had to bend the metal Makita clip a bit and make the bolt hole slightly larger but it works good. I did not use the supplied hardware that came with the guard but I'm sure it would have been nice too.

Great guard that also comes wiht the steel mounting bracket!
I used this shield to replace my original ECHO SRM-2100 guard when I modified the unit to use a 9" x 32T circular carbide tooth blade for cutting light brush in a field behind my home. PLS NOTE: This guard also includes the steel mounting bracket found here (so in most cases no need to order an additional one): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DDK4PQL?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title As others have noted, I did modify said bracket by removing the ~1-1/2" x 1/2" protruding 'leg' so that I could mount it closely to the 2100's gear housing. The guard not only provides safety from the spinning blade, but equally as important allows me to start the weedeater without damaging the blade while it rests on the pavement. This appears to be of equal quality to most factory-supplied OEM guards!

Great Fit - Good Quality - Larger Width than stock Ryobi - Recommended
Plastic is a little cheap feeling but overall I think it's excellent for the price. Fits Ryobi (extend-it version) straight shaft trimmer perfectly. It is considerably wider than the OEM Ryobi guard which is exactly why I purchased this; areas of our property have rocks and gravel interspersed through out and was tired of pebbles being thrown back at me using the stock Ryobi guard. Used this all day yesterday (four batteries worth) and it was far more pleasant. Wide enough without being cumbersome and the fit is great.

Perfect fit,easy to install!
From the time you open the Amazon box to the time you install it will take less than 5 minutes. It’s made very well, comes with a cut off blade installed and the hardware is a perfect fit. For the price you paying compared to others you can’t go wrong!

Fits good but the cutting edge should be molded a little downward to cut the trimmer string.
